I visited for Jekyll Island Comic Con and had a great time. I didn't spend much time at the hotel but while I was there I didn't have any complaints. They had a continental breakfast which I love, the hotel staff was very nice, and the rooms where very clean (which is very important to me.) I would definitely visit again!

Wonder hotel off the island. At a great location by the beach. The free breakfast is standard but very good, and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are large with fully furnished kitchen and the price is well worth it. Will return again during the summer!

Suite was awesome, but king-size bed had a huge depression on one side. Other Board Members that stayed here were not happy with their room selection. One member's room was not cleaned and when he asked about it at the front desk, he was told nothing could be done about it. If he needed replacement towels, etc that's all they could help him with.

Have been coming here for years.At least 30! Love the close walk to the beach..wood fire pit with chairs,pools and hot tub! Great get your morning going breakfast! Also you must say hello to Miss RoseShe keeps the place running smoothly!

Excellent hospitality, and older hotel, that is very cozy. I have stayed on the island 4 times. We have stayed in 3 different hotels on Jekyll Island. The San Susi at the Jekyll Island Club (fancy), The Hampton Inn (private, perched on woodsy setting next to the beach, and Days Inn (cozy with excellent sunrise views). Of the 3 hotel my favorite for the atmosphere is The Days Inn! All 3 hotel are excellent!

Staff is very helpful! I always forget common items and they are fast to let me borrow a replacement like corkscrews for wine or a spatula to grill with. The pools are great and the beach access is wonderful. They have very reasonable rates.

Love staying here. It's right on the beach with its own boardwalk. The pools are great and the hot tub is amazing. The rooms are clean and the staff is always friendly. Definitely a great value!

Pretty decent place to stay on the island, I've stayed there several times. The toilet in my families room clogged really easy though, they were quick to fix it but it was annoying reguardless.
They have a nice breakfast and hot tub. They have also renovated some rooms so that they are the size of two rooms, while they are more expensive they are pretty nice. They are sorta like mini arpartments.response / report this review -

The rooms felt a little outdated, but the view was spectacular. I was in room 242, which was blocked by the stairs but it came in handy in the mornings when the sun rose, allowing for sleeping in. The sink was in the room, no enclosed closet, but the shower and toilet were behind a door. The room did have a microwave, fridge and coffee maker as well as a Flat screen TV. The continental breakfast was not bad at all. Big variety like eggs, cerial, waffle maker, oatmeal grits, bagels, milk juice and coffee. The pool was somewhat heated. There was also at tub and kiddy pool. I would certainly stay here again.

Located directly on the beach, this is a great motel. The breakfast is good, the rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly. The property has two outside pools, one of them heated, and a hot tub. When we were here, the hot tub was under repair. We will definitely come again.

This was the worst motel have ever stayed at. The first day there we use the bathroom in the toilet was broken and they wouldn't swap our room I had to use the bathroom after my wife but I had to wait until maintenance was done with the repairs. And everyday I tried to brush my teeth the water smells so bad it almost made me throw up by God every single time. When we checked out they said they couldn't give me a receipt that it would be email to me. So I asked him if it was emailed yet and they said I should be getting one but I'm still looking in the email hasn't come through yet. What kind of place doesn't give you a receipt? The first night when the toilet was broken I tried to swap rooms and they said they would do it but have to put me right back in the same room the next day. That's ridiculous! Next time I will stay at another place even if it means paying a little extra even though this sorry place was $160 a night

I'd say honestly more like 2.5 stars. View is amazing, very nice beach, breakfast was decent, heated pool and hot tub were both nice after long day and it got cool the evening we stayed. Now for the room we stayed in. There was an annoying drip from the shower so we had to sleep with the bath room door shut. The room had a very must smell, there was hair on the bath room floor, we were supposed to have two queen beds and there full not queen. Out on I-95 there is a sign for rates as low as $79 a night. Make sure you mention this to get that rate if not you will pay at least $30 more a night and more if you want a Ocean view room. The 2nd floor is more because it has a better view. There are sand dunes blocking most of the view of the ocean. Hope this helps. March 2017.
