Someone dear to me was taken in the ambulance 🚑 to this hospital's 🏥 emergency room while I followed them. After parking my car, I was instructed on where to find her. When I got to her, they've already figured out what to do with her. 🤔 A nurse decided that she needed psych services than emergency medical aid and subjected her to hours of "observations." 😡 How do you do that to someone who needs medical help? 😔 I guess that's how they make their money. 😤 This is the worst hospital! Absolutely too long of a wait at Jamaica hospital emergency room I arrived at a little after 1pm with a bad sprain to my ankle and didn't leave until 10:30pm most of my time was spent waiting to see a doctor. Out of that 9 hour wait I would say I was with a nurse or doctor for all of 25 minutes and I still feel like that's being generous. There was no sense of urgency in the care of the nurses or doctors, I haven't been to many ER's in my lifetime but I most definitely know I will never be back to Jamaica hospital emergency room if I need care !

I gave birth there and this is a really bad hospital. Would not recommend it. I breastfeeded my baby right away she was born. The second day I continue breastfeeding her but I was not producing enough milk for her. And instead of milk blood was coming out of my breast. My baby was crying a lot, she was really hungry and nurses did not want to give her any formula. I was crying as well because I was in pain and I wanted my daughter to be good. I spend two days there and these days were a nightmare for me and my daughter. I don't want to hear not even the name of this hospital. Nurse are the worse :(.

I Give It 3 Stars. Pediatric ER Is Good They Take Care of My Son Quick And They Are Really Nice. The Adult Side However Is Ridiculous. I Have To Wait A Very Long Time For Me To Be Seen And They Are Very Lazy 😡

The waiting time here is ridiculous took me over four hours just for the registration when I asked the nurse at the front she told me I'm the only one going to the MAIN area and it's close so when they call her she'll let me know. When I got to this so call main area everyone that was in the waiting room with me was there. Then had to sit for another hours for a bed to start my treatment. I was in so much pain. This hospital is a shame.If u want to die go here. Don't recommend this hospital. You guys need better staff and more workers.

So I was there perfectly fine right? Then I broke my foot and had to be taken to another hospital. Like, why couldn't they just fix ma bone there? There so stupid. Also, when I saw my uncle he was turning orange, was donald trump born here? Cuz if he was, i would give this hospital a rating of -9001.

this is one of the worst hospital ever. seriously. my mother got a fish bone stuck in her throat while she was having dinner. i took her to the emergency of this stupid hospital at 11.00pm and it took freaking 8 HOURS to finish all the procedures and get the fish bone out of her throat. the worst hospital ever and really very unprofessional crew. IF ANY PATIENT IS IN A SERIOUS CONDITION THEN PLS DONT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. YOUR BELOVED ONES LIFE WILL BE IN DANGER.

Jamaica Hospital is the worse Hospital in the Brooklyn. I used to go to Maimonides hospital and Lautheran Hospital Always a pleasure experience with them. Since I move to this area and Every time I go there and their Midesy clinic at Atlantic Ave they all same not clean and staffs are no good. Every time I go there I had to wait at least 3 to 5 hours This is ridiculous. Please help

Horrible place to take a family member. The staff is extremely loud. Patients are resting and recovering in their rooms and the attendants are running about the hallways yelling and playing as if it's high school. No chairs available for family members and when you ask the staff for something they act as if you just committed a crime. The security on the first floor is mit or miss. Sometimes they want to see your ID and sometimes they don't. Temperature control in the room I horrible. Don't go there unless every place else is closed.
