Every time I've been here, they have told me there is a 30-45 min. wait, even though there are lots of empty tables. I have lived within close walking distance for 4 years, and have eaten here 3 times, only when desperate and willing to wait because I don't feel like walking further. The food off the menu is good, but the banquet food is terrible for special events. The view is nice. The prices are reasonable, especially compared with the new restaurant next door, American Social, with the same food but triple the cost.

Upscale and expensive restaurant and bar overlooking the water. We go here via boat and this place is near downtown. The place is usually always busy, they have great sushi, seafood, steaks, and other foods, along with a full bar. The service is many times slow, and even if we make reservations it seems we still have to wait for a table on busy nights. So they are not very well organized and must be understaffed and over busy. Drink refills come slow, and so does the food, but the food is very good. If the service was better I would give them a higher rating, based on the food. The ambiance is nice as you sit high above the water and can look out across it. We always sit outside on the deck although the inside is large and has nice cold AC. Some nights they have a musician playing live music.

3.5 is the real rating.
The view when sitting outside is great and there are plenty of heaters for chilly days and the inside is lovely as well. The cocktail menu has interesting and tasty choices. Try the cucumber and melon cooler! It tastes like tart watermelon candy.
Unfortunately, the service is a little surly and very pushy/impatient.
Sushi and other Asian choices are amazingly good. The "American" foods not so much. The burgers seem to be frozen patties. The chicken tenders have a fluffy-yet-crispy coating but not much flavor, and the sauces are nothing special. Again, stick with sushi and this will be a good choice!

I think I had the best steak of my life here. We waited an hour for a table due to our large group but it was well worth it. I would recommend the place to everyone. We tried all the appetizers and they all well delicious. 5 star all the way.

Perhaps, one of the best French cuisine restaurant in Tampa Bay. We came here twice, one for dinner, and for the nightclub. For the restaurant, I had Pan-Seared Red Snapper & Jumbo Sea Scallops, and my girlfriend had Lobster Carbonara. The scallops here merely is out-of-this-world. They were so fresh, luscious, and cooked just right. It came with steamed black jasmine rice and vegetables with a Spicy Thai Red Curry in Coconut Milk Sauce, making the whole meal well-balanced and mellow. I do not like the atmosphere here, though, as we sat on the patio and had a view onto the Tampa river with dull skyscrapers and cruises. It was pretty noisy when the cruises passed on the bridges. The atmosphere here was entirely different at night when people gathered for nightlife with music, dancing, and cocktails. My friends and I came for Halloween party, and the experience is incredible, unforgettable. I definitely will come back here to try their famous sushi.

Food is fairly good. The menu has a lot of seafood options, but not very many vegetarian and virtually no vegan options. It is a bit overpriced given the quality of the food. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. There is seating outside that has a view of the waterfront. The entrance is a bit hidden, so you need to know it is there. Food is also a bit heavy.

Definitely, the best place to be in Tampa Bay on, say a Saturday night, for like the last 20 years and they have tons of awards to prove it. The location, the ambiance, the service but the essence of this place lies in the kitchen or maybe at the bar. Indisputably, the best sushi I have ever tasted, and the twenty-year-old Port is unforgettable.

Went on a Saturday not very busy on this particular Saturday, not sure why.. the staff is very nice and sweet :) they were still serving dinner when we arrived at 11:30pm.. not sure if they were going to convert that dining room into a dance floor once everyone was done eating ? We left after only an hour.. music was nice, though. They had a Latin room that played beautiful music ( I don't speak Spanish so it was all great beats for me) outside patio had techno.. they advertised a hip-hop music room which I'm assuming was supposed to be where people were eating ?? Drinks were reasonable in price (got 3 for $21) and they were STRONG!! I will plan to go back on a different weekend.

Very busy place. Menu and food looked good, but never got a chance to try. We put our names in to be seated (45 minute wait after 9, so quite busy) and went to get a drink at one of the two bars or look for some open seats for dinner. First bar ignored us, went outside to second bar and sat down. They told us that they were no longer serving food, only drinks. They weren't super polite and the front staff clearly was in disarray to have directed us there. Overall bad experience, we went to Edison instead and had a great dinner.

For a bistro, this place has amazing sushi. It always tastes fresh and it's usually pretty good for the price that I've paid. Definitely worth a try!

In town for a conference and stopped by here for dinner. Sat at the bar and enjoyed very cold draft and delicious french onion soup and perhaps the yummiest coconut shrimp I've ever eaten. Service was fantastic and the ambience was perfect.

Classy decor, dinning room and patio dinning options this place impresses at first glance. Then you order from there creative menu, and your food arrives fresh, perfectly cooked and flavorful. We had the chicken salad and chicken sandwich, everything was perfect and we can't wait to return for sushi later!

A beautiful restaurant just off the water. Unfortunately there was a major storm passing through Tampa so we had to stay indoors. The food was good and the service was excellent! A bit pricey.

We enjoyed a vegetarian Thai dish and house salad. We also tried the sushi and it was excellent.
