Said they had my tire in stock and could do the work immediately. That was 3 hours ago. Missed multiple meetings as a result.
We have had great experience with both sales and Service at International BMW. Nick in sales has been very responsive to all our inquiries and goes above and beyond what is needed. Plus he's a really nice guy - no "car salesman" act with him. When we needed to get our car in he worked with Eric in service to help us out. Eric got us in and communicated what was wrong and how long it would take to get it fixed. It was ready when he said it would be ready. Everyone there has been really great to work with.
We just bought 2 BMWs. The salesman, Brian, was excellent and helped us find what we needed. The manager, Mo, was also very helpful in every way and took care of all the details. This was a great experience all around! We will recommend International BMW to our friends.
Our sale was totally pain-free! I absolutely hate buying cars, but ZACHARY made it an enjoyable experience. He knew what he was selling and was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions. Thank you Zack!
Not only did I buy a BMW but I bought a used 04' BMW from Zack. It was an experience from both sides of sales and it was smooth and painless. Definitely will go back for future cars. Have also gotten some service and routine maintenance done and both of those have gone smooth as well. Overall a very well ran dealership.
Knowledgeable sales and product staff.
Mike Willer was extremely knowledgeable and professional in helping me through the sales process. He was efficient with my time and passionate about the BMW brand.
The Product Genius, Lucas, was extremely thorough in going over the features of my new car. He took the time to get my phone and music synced with my new car.
The BMW Sales Manager, Arthur, and his staff made this a very pleasant and professional experience.
I would definitely recommend INTERNATIONAL BMW.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced from all of the dealerships in this area!!! First of all, I strongly recommend starting your work day a little earlier and opening at 7 am like everyone else. Every time we call, we are routed to the wrong person at least twice and no seems to answer the phone in parts and service until you have tried calling a few times. If it weren't for the fact that this is the ONLY dealership in the area with the parts that we need we would never associate with them. Seriously, for how much we spend on these parts and services, I can't believe your employees don't up their game! These are some very prestigious brands they are dragging through the mud!
Poor BMW service. Took my 2 year old BMW 550i to have interior trim replaced after it broke off drivers seat. International's Service Advisors determined it wasn't covered under BMW warranty and it was my fault for breaking it. Service Advisor could have just as easily covered it under BMW's 4 year bumper-to-bumper but instead decided to make the customer pay for it. Next time I'll drive the extra 15 miles to BMW North Milwaukee to have my car serviced.
The worst sales people I've ever met. First they gave me the wrong information related to my previous loan payoff amount (costing me $2,200) and then my new car didn't have the options I was told it would have.
If you do business with IA, make sure you do you own research and DON'T TRUST THE SALES PEOPLE.
I would highly recommend buying a car from another dealer.
Where to start.
So to set the stage little bit. I once lived in Milwaukee. I went to high school and college there with some time in Virginia in the military between them. As such I feel a certain kinship with my fine Midwestern people.
I had a troubling experience as a youth at Concourse BMW while in college and I vowed to never go back. So I bought a car in 2010. The process was smooth, easy and very well done. So I came back this year.
This process other than driving the car, has been a 180 degree difference. I'm not sure how things have changed so much but I'd advise you to look elsewhere for your new BMW purchase. I thought I'd be helping my people out. I may be, but this is at the cost to me of almost no communications about the purchase, continued missed deadlines (shipping the vehicle to me) and a lackadaisical approach to my issues (as if the customer should wait for the dealership's issues).
Not sure what happened in my time apart but I cannot in good faith recommend an out of state purchase with IA. I guess they figure I'm out of sight out of mind.
Next time I'll find someone more local and take care of my business there
The cars are quality. Service, communication (the mist important factor when buying a vehicle) non existent. Service is like pulling teeth for answers. I'd stay away. Plenty of bmw dealerships in Illinois.
I am giving a star just because I am supposed to be giving that to write a review. They just try to rip you off no matter what. Its been 3 months I bought a used vehicle from the dealer and they charged 450$ for the first oil change and vehicle check up to give an estimate of 4700$ for the repairs that already existed I suppose before they sold me. They say the vehicle is fully tested and ok before selling it to you. Once you buy it you are responsible for the repairs you wouldn't know until the next service.
