I reserved a room for my wife's and our anniversary. When we arrived we found the room to be very, very small with out dated furniture. There was a air conditioner in the closet which left no room for our luggage and hang our clothes. We asked to speak to the manager who was pleasant. She told us our deposit would be returned to our credit card, it eventually was.

The location was perfect for us. The beds were clean and nice. No smells and no bed bugs! Very spacious! Parking was easy and check in and out was very fast and simple. Great job Inn By The Bay!!!!

Id probably actually give 3 or 4 stars. The rooms were clean, but overall the atmosphere seemed old or tired. Rooms came with standard features like fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable enough, though not extremely fluffy. However, what makes me rate it higher is the staff. Extremely helpful and understanding. I'll happily rate this play 5 stars bc of their attitudes.

Clean, kid friendly but one shower was not working. Had to take off showerhead. AC machine was loud but overall, it was a decent place ro stay

It is convenient to Cannery Row and Warf. There is a park with Frisbee golf targets across street. Is dog friendly. Easy walking to Old Monterey.

Passable hotel. Everything is a little worn out. Comfy bed. A bit expensive but all hotels in Monterey are.

Rooms were nicely kept. Location was close to where we, gf and I, wanted to visit and main concern was they were pet friendly. We needed a place to stay with our doggie.

The Inn By The Bay Monterey is well located to explore Monterey. The staff is kind, and there are clean, nice rooms. Don't expect anything besides a comfy place to stay the night.

worst place I ever stayed. Was a volunteer for the golf tournament and couldn't wait to get back to a warm room. however, there was no heat all night. I tried calling all night but conveniently their phone system was not working. I will never stay here again

Semi dog friendly. Rule is dog must be with owners at all times. Very cozy. Beds are clean and comfortable.
