  Decent price rooms have been remodeled ( kinda ) . Breakfast stinks

  I stay here three to four nights a week on business. Owners are super friendly and do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Out of all the hotels in the Monterey area this one is probably my favorite because I feel at home here. And it's the most reasonably priced as well

  This was the dirtiest motel I've ever seen. My daughter pulled down sheets found bedbugs. The room smelled so strong from cleaning chemicals my eyes were burning and we couldn't breathe. The room was filthy. We got are money back and left. But the owner was apologizing. The pictures on the Internet must have taken years ago. Because the place is very run down. This was 12:30am. To small children. We couldn't find another motel. Drove all night. :(. This was Saturday night. There was sticks in window seal to lock windows.

  The Travelodge in Salinas CA needs remodelled, smelled musty, stains on carpet, and chairs. I would also like to see them add a refrigerator and microwave to the room.

  Rooms are all right as long as you don't mind a slight smokey smell, I checked in late(around10:30) and the guy was prompt about getting me in. No complaints.

  There are definitely better and cleaner places, but if you can't find any other hotel, this one helps
