This is the classic upscale desert resort. Beautiful views from all rooms and a great restaurant, Pietro's that makes amazing pasta on site
Its ok, needs tech to be upgraded, to have 3 corded phones (even one next to the toilet) but no USB ports for charging needs looked at. Cleaning appliances should be done correctly. Finding used coffee bags in the percolator turns you off a bit
Overall I say this resort would be good for 90% of people but that 10% would have a problem with the A/c not blowing cold enough, pietros being delicious but being in the bathroom 10 minutes later😳, having no blackout curtains or the bed hurting your back for whatever reason. For me, I loved it cause I had my lady right next me
Super nice hotel. The surrounding lands and golf course are truely breathtaking.
Right next to fountain hills just outside the Phoenix Valley. The spa was a really great experience. My wife and I got a couples massage and it was very relaxing. Would definitely go again.
Absolutely amazing! The rooms are spacious yet the fireplaces give them a cozy feel, and with their whirlpool tubs it's a perfect vacation. The employees are so respectfully, just overall an outstanding get away.
Comfortable hotel. Beautiful sights and good amenities. Close to Scottsdale. Place to repeat experience
The services were subpar; the rooms were noisy because of other guests in different rooms above them, did not lend itself to relaxation. The massage was jerky and very unsatisfying. I kept hoping it would be over. The front desk ladies were nice but there was soap in the water dispenser and it wasn't changed after it was brought to their attention and no other water was offered (water is super important to drink after massage). The tipping system was also awkward, we were charged for the tip before our services even began and my esthetician seemed to keep hitting at a larger tip. Overall, I don't feel it was worth the price that was paid.
Pretty nice hotel, it's older but Clean. Right on golf course makes it a great place for golf. Not much else going on there though!
The spa facilities are not up to par here. You check in and wait in the hotel lobby, they take you to the massage room, and then you leave. Not a place to make a day of it with amenities etc
Eagles Nest Bistro is a wonderful dining experience. Chef Kenneth Curry prepares a delicious Nest Salad with the most awesome Orange Vinaigrette dressing. As our main course we had 20 day aged NY Strip Steak rubbed with rainbow pepper, pan roasted, and topped with sautéed wild mushrooms, garlic and a demi glaze .
Ask for Michael Davis as your server, he came up with great menu ideas for us and recommended the NY Cheesecake which was different and much better than what I have had in the past.
Went in for a couple's massage. Our therapists were so friendly and made us very comfortable. The relaxation room is a wonderful alternative to a simple waiting room and we really enjoyed the secluded couple's suite!
Great place to stay on the outskirts of the city. It was nice and quite and very relaxing. Not very busy when we stayed there which was great. We had the pool all to ourselves.
