These guys might have been serving Phoenix for the last 35 years but the are completely cluless about Delhi cuisine. I order spicy butter chicken and received a sweet gravy with peas and carrots and diced tomatoes in it. When I called back, the manager said that I don’t know about butter chicken but this is our style we have been cooking butter chicken like this for the last 35 years. I have never ever seen or tasted a butter chicken which is sweet and white.

Food was good, but wasn’t spicy at all. Wasn’t allowed amount of desired rice for each round at the buffet. Place looked clean for the most part, but I did see two cockroaches during my visit.

Rice costs extra for some reason.
No youtensils or napkins in bag.
Trying to cut costs perhaps? Understandable in these times of uncertainties. But still however none the less. Rice should come on the meal with no extra charge. We all face difficulties

Extremely low quality, stale food. I ordered lunch buffet which had Chicken tikka masala, dal maharani, kheer and gulab jamun. Everything was so so bland and watery with no richness. Chicken tikka and dal actually got mixed up and turned up to a weird combination. Kheer was actually prepared from stale milk that had an extremely bad after taste. This is highly inappropriate and I am actually worried about food poisoning. I myself cook all the time and felt this was the worst. Not at all recommended! Waste of money. Please check better indian restaurants nearby.

Excellent Indian cuisine, served buffet-style, with menu items served at dinnertime. A favorite is the vegetable Korma, so tasty one forgets that it contains no meat. Other dishes are equally excellent. Gulab Jamun for dessert, among other items. Accompanied by freshly made Naan. Friendly staff for the most part, worth a trip down McDowell.

Cockroach in the soup. Disgusted, I showed it to the waiter/manager he tried to claim it was an ingredient, & tried to take the bowl away. I said it is not an ingredient, & took a picture of the cockroach in the soup. Too disgusted to eat, I refused any offerings. Then they had the nerve to charge us for our disgusting meal and deny the cockroach in the meal. Don't dine here. If you do. Enjoy the cockroach soup.

I have only been here once but I would definitely go back. I went with my boyfriend for an early dinner and we were the only car in the parking lot on a weekday night. It did start to fill up shortly thereafter. The service was attentive, the food was delicious, and it has a very nice atmosphere

A gem in the desert. Some of the best food I've ever hadvegan choices as well as those who prefer meat. Amazing service. Great buffet. Hot Naan bread served to the table hot from the oven. I cannot stop telling people how amazing this place is.

I have heard great things about this place, but never stopped here until today. The inside and outside of this place is beautiful. The building is divided into two halves: a shop on one side, where you can buy Indian products, and a restaurant on the other, where I was heading. The first thing I noticed when I stepped inside was that I was the only customer. Since I had arrived between the lunch and dinner hours, I guess that was no surprise. The second thing I noticed was they had a buffet table, which I had not expected. I had figured this place for a regular restaurant, which it is to some extent. You can still order off a menu. I decided to try the buffet.

Right away I am taken aback by the paltry selection of items, and my complete unfamiliarity with them. I have never eaten Indian food before, and crossing it off my bucket list was one of my reasons for stopping here. Most of the dishes appeared to be goop made from different vegetables. I generally do not like goopy foods, but I am game to try anything new. For protein, there was only Tandoori Chicken, but the pan was empty. The waiter said something to me, but it was hard for me to understand him because of his thick accent and because he was chewing food. I finally understood him to be saying that he would bring more chicken.

I pile my plate with different colors of goop and sit down at my table. After sampling everything, I quickly determined that Indian food is not my thing. It is just too spicy and, well, goopy. I am not going to say the food is bad. It is just that I had never eaten Indian food before and my palate is unused to it. Other people who are more familiar with this food might find it excellent. Indeed, the Tandoori chicken, when it finally arrived, was good.

I give this establishment high marks for cleanliness and ambience, and average marks for food and service. I would have given higher marks for service, except that the waiter was eating while on the job. While this does not personally bother me, especially considering that I had arrived during the restaurant's off hours, it still must be counted against them. Most customers do not want to see their waiters eating while serving them. So, overall, I give this place 3 stars, which is a decent rating in my book. I may go back and give this place another try, and update this review accordingly. It really is a beautiful place.

Went for lunch. We had the Buffett . I loved all the veggie choices. The meat eaters were loving it too. I'm not sure if they change up the menu every now and then.

Outstanding food. I come here with a group from work every couple weeks for the lunch buffet and it's consistently great. For $11 I don't see how it can be topped.

I'm no expert on Indian food but I'd say that these people are doing it right. Big fan of the chicken korma

Great selections. Amazing food. Makes you wonder about the 1 star reviews. One says the world has to stop because it is her Birthday. The other says the man should throw his religious beliefs out and shave his mustache for her. Really? It is equivalent of them asking you to look like Jennifer Aniston before you dine in their restaurant.

You are there to eat traditional Indian food. That is what you are going to get. What a head job with it? Go on backpage.

We go to this place for carry-out. It's delicious, and when we go to pick up food, it always smells like the best spices. The food is good, and reasonably inexpensive.

It was my birthday, I keep look for a good Indian restaurant I select this one. Place look fine but Me and family we order different dishes the price high according to the amount of food , chicken butter dish it like what left over from buffet they add to sauce all total chicken in dish not worth even 2$ compare for the price of 13$ , mix grill 19$ the dish worth about 4$, they cut the kabob and chicken to very small pieces to make the plate look full. When ask them why like that, the server said that the way we serve, I do not create any problems it was my birthday do not want to be sad , finely it is not that good choice never back again. May the open buffet which cost about 10$ is much better than dinner time. The market in place look dirty , I do not know how kitchen look like.

Great, affordable lunch buffet option. I regularly go here with my co-workers. The buffet rotates more niche items (like the spinach and yogurt based dishes) with consistent staples, like chicken tiki masala. The food is appropriately spiced, regularly switched out for freshness, and the service is consistently good. I would recommend Indian Delhi Palace for a consistent quality Indian buffet experience.

We went to the lunch buffet to try it out and since it was a buffet, we kept our expectations reasonable. What a wonderful surprise we had! The food was fresh, delicious and amazing. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. It was a great experience and the food was SO good. We will definitely be back!
