I always enjoy going to India Imports, they have a clothing shop inside as well as a restaurant. I recommend the Goat stew, delicious yum yum
I often used to go to this place for groceries, but on my last visit there was this fat cashier lady who was very rude and didn't have manners. She even confronted me and we had a discussion, may be she was having a bad but that's no reason to argue with customers, and another worse part is when I talked to the manager about it, he was not helpful and was supporting her without having any knowledge. The managers should know that arguing with paying customers is not good.
If they behave like this to regular customer, I don't know how the fat cashier lady and the manager behave with others.
So we all are avoiding this place forever, there are lots of other choices.
Meat is very bad quality, just got home and the meat i bought for $140 smells so bad. Make sure to smell the chicken before paying for it. Guys in the meat shop were not wearing masks, one of the guys were coughing over the meat- not safe!!
I like going to the store when I'm thinking outside the box and I want to have me an experience with lots of different spices but I mainly go there for ginger and ginger and garlic paste which I love adding to my daily dishes when I'm cooking at home I hate that they stop selling some items but hey they also have a restaurant on the side haven't yet tried it but I'm definitely going to also they have fresh cut up meat in the back if you like goats they have it if you like lamb they have it go and try out Indian imports you won't be disappointed
Good experience with placing my order for 2- dozen chicken patties, they were freshly made and quite delicious. Since I was picking up my initial order I bought another dozen meat samosas. Overall good experience, the POS workers can do better with some good training on upbeat customer-service.
Owner is a super nice guy. Good collection. Big shop. Only problem is : they are rigid on some policies and rarely listens yo customers. When you reach 500 usd shoping, they give you 20$ free grocery. Very nice place.
Everything Indian under one roof. Awesome place to shop for Indian goods and produce
Amazing desi store I have ever been to. This store is so good, when I used to live in Houston, I used to come here every couple of months to do all my grocery stockpile. Now I moved back to Dallas & this amazing store is definitely one of the reasons why. I could only find two limitations here:
i) Their fresh vegetable produce is limited & not as expanded as you'd expect it in as large a grocery store as this.
ii) Don't ever use the restroom here. It's messy & they should definitely take care of this issue.
Other than that, this store is such a clean, well-managed & well resourced desi grocery store, I don't even think of going any place else for my monthly grocery stockpile. All desi fish, halal meats and all other stuffs that you can not find anywhere near around. Definitely a 5-star for my grocery experience.
Bought 2 bags of rice from 2 different makers. They were both infested with bugs. Drove back to the store to return them two days later and was told that because I didn't keep my receipt they would not be given my money back. They said " you could have bought these at any Indian store."
I ended up with bugs in some of my other food as well. And I wonder, should I be keeping every single receipt I get? Of I do it will never be from this filthy store again.
It is Sunday. I told the manager that Monday I will be going to the Irving Health Department. He just shrugged. No doubt they've had dealings with them before.
I am really disappointed with these guys. They have list my business. If I can offer three words of advice it would be "Don't go there. Ever."
Ok that's 4 words.
Good and cheap food. Little shabby but thats fine. Try the halim.
It's very nice place to shop grocery & food items. Price are reasonable & quality are good.
Mostly shop for meat which is better in quality and price than it's competition.
Ugh food, rude staff. They don't know the difference between chicken curry and chicken tikka masala yet they serve Indian food what a shame, don't waste your time or money
Bhendi Masala made to Order. Need to wait for 20 mins. But its good.
great unique product portfolioway to go India Imports
Good collection of Bangladeshi fish. Vegetables collection is not so good.
They have lots of stuff, I was looking for curry powder but I did find much variety but that have lots of other spices and stuff. Also they have a small restaurant attach.
Best place to get meat. Customer service is too good.
The boneless chicken biryani is awesome. As well as the daal puri and samosas
