Stayed for just one evening in a mountain view room on the first floor that had a lovely little patio. The resort has a tranquitily about it that is pierced by the young children in families who stay there, so it's a bit of a trade-off. Went for a walk along the paths just below the main building in the evening.

Thought this would be a nice place for family to stay from out of town. Great atmosphere but lacks a real luxury hotel spa feel. I think it is past due for updates. The evening patio setting is nice. The staff could use etiquette training. New Mexico does not seem to have a large pool of happy or friendly people to choose from for staffing. Not horrible but not all it is cracked up to be.

Amazing setting. On the way up from the airport it wasnt very impressive until you get outside of town. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is excellent, very accommodating. The food was outstanding with the southwest flair. Would stay here again.

Great place for a night away to be with your significant other or on your own. This is a fantastic location hidden away from the busy valley. It has a very relaxed and happy atmosphere. Wonderful food and very helpful and friendly staff. Just try not to be too sad when you have to leave this lovely place.

I am staying at this hotel for a confernce. It is a fantastic hotel. The room is cozy and warm. The conference rooms are great. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

The vast skies and beautiful sunsets set along the Rio Grande make Tamaya a favorite place to stay.
The service is outstanding.
From the moment you walk in the doors are held open for you, the aroma and warmth of the fireplace envelope you. It is like being transported back to ancient times.response / report this review -

Beautiful hotel. Recieved complimentary margarita upon check in which I loved. Breakfast buffet was superb. Beautiful atmosphere and caring staff. Loved every minute of our delightful stay.

Had a nice mountain view room. Tamaya is on the small size of all the Resorts we've been to. Only 1 bar with dining. Bar at Pool area with service from pool boys & girls.
Found all run-ins with staff to be pleasant.
Not far from other things to do: Take the train to Santa Fe for the day. Try a Hot Air Balloon ride. Old town Albuquerque. Casino.
Must see: Horse Rescue area. Walk along the Rio Grande. Golf course.
Would I go again? Probably, but not anytime soon.response / report this review -

Location: lovely. Isolated and very peaceful. Rooms: 4 out of 5 stars. Little details kept this from a 5-star rating. Service: very warm and welcoming; again, 4 out of 5.

These guys have it down. Its an amazing place to relax for a weekend, they have 3 separate pools, one four every age group. The rooms are very well designed, and large. Most rooms if not all have a very nice balcony with a nice view. There are activities throughout the day including live music, horseback riding, trails to hike, and much more.

Secluded but not remote location, with incredible views of Sandia mountains and , very helpful staff. Plenty of things to do. Large family oriented pool plus a really nice quiet adult pool. Enjoyed laying by pool and listening to Pueblo man play a soothing calming flute next to pool. Hiking, bicycle trails. Beautiful golf course adjacent. Nice well-appointed rooms. Refrigerator, water bottles replaced daily, bath robes, etc. Class place.

From the moment we pulled up I liked it. It is tucked back like a little oasis. It had amazing views and gorgeous South western decor. It was luxurious yet cozy. I was only there for a couple hours for work function but I now plan on going back for a couple of days of r&r.

This is a very nice resort full of great staff. The rooms are very nice with a superb atmosphere. The restaurants are great, although the quality of the food in Santa Ana Cafe has slipped quite a bit and the staff sometimes seem to be preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves instead of being attentive. The pool areas are very nice and gives you a somewhat tropical feel. The Twin Warriors Golf Club has an excellent golf course and amazing staff, I play there frequently.
