This a very nice property that seems to have serious staffing problems. Check in time is 3 pm, we finally got a room at 5 pm which was a very nice upgrade because our room type was still not ready. In the evening, there was only one server in the cafe. They wisely required reservations to control guest numbers so once seated the service was okay. Front desk and door staff were friendly and efficient. Easy drive access to Old Town, Art Museum and shopping.
Arrived at midnight to find they had overbooked and I did not have a room. Had paid for cab to get there and now had to wait for a cab to take me back in the direction of the airport to the Sheraton airport hotel. Had business next day at 700 am right by Embassy hotel. Was told they would pay for my cab back there next day and that I just had to call them when I got my room number at the Sheraton. When I tried to call them now at 12:45 am. No one picked up. Lost an hour, lost my complimentary breakfast and incurred extra expenses. Same thing happened to customer in front of me, and a third customer as well that night. Shame they overbook, which I was told is a practice there. Disappointed!
COLD COLD COLD!!! No BREAKFAST! I usually Give this place a 5 star plus ratingWe always choose Embassy for our family getaways and spend the holidays here. this Thanksgiving our stay was not pleasantWe Stayed in room 821our heater did not work it through out cold air all night. In the morning we were looking forward to breakfast, which has never let us down, until that day there was no breakfast left. i was very upset. We were planning to stay here Christmas eve and Christmas day, but with the weather, not sure if it will be a comfortable stay. We recommended this hotel to my brother and mother and they said they had the same experience with the cold air, but i refused to believe them, Until we experienced it our selves. I hope they gets those heaters working. Undecided if we will stay this Christmas. Amy Gonzales
The receptionist was wonderful when I booked the room and I loved the fact they have a military rate for the suite. My kids were able to enjoy the pool, although there were a ton of kids in there without adult supervision. I would've given 5 stars, but the breakfast did not impress me. It was actually one of the worst I've ever had. But that's ok, that won't stop me from staying there again or referring people to the hotel. The people that work there made me feel great and were so nice.
Very lovely hotel. Usually a conference going on, but does not over run the hotel. Had 2 issues, my digital key would not work so I had to get a key from desk. Also A.C. in main bedroom was only blowing heat. Worker that came to fix was very pleasant ex pained the issue (ppl before us requested no A.C. and only heater) so he quickly corrected our 91 degree room.
Would love to return, usually the Embassy Suites are not my favorite but this one was exceptional. Need to get massage next visit!
Stayed here last month and room was Beautiful! Spacious and felt like an apartment. Very pretty view. Great Spa.
Note coffee house doesn't open till 2 for afternoon.
The check in process was very smooth and the front desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast and bar staff put in a lot of effort to make for a pleasant experience. The main areas for improvement would be the housekeeping staff which couldn't seem to get our coffee replenishment right, and the beds felt worn out.
My office had it's annual "All Employee Meeting" at this location earlier this week. We had nothing but problems during the hotel provided lunch. Everyone eventually got food. However not all of my co-workers got what they ordered since the hotel ran out of pot roast. And some of those did not get the lunch until almost 2 hours after it started. During this time we had different employees telling us different things. Depending on the employee, they were out of chicken, out of roast, X would be here shortly (an hour before getting their food), there is no food available, and several other versions with slight variations.
I attended a meeting. I enjoyed the food and the service. I had a very delicious Pot Roast. It was nice but not anything super fancy. The room we were in was freezing so it would have been nice to have an employee around checking in during the all day event so we could have asked to have the temperature adjusted. Lots of parking available.
Very good hotel with a great central location! Personable staff and good managers reception and breakfast. Green Chile available for omelettes! My only criticism is lack of USB/bedside power outlets and my neighbors started smoking some skunk weed at some pointsmelled pretty nasty. I also like the fact they offer 500 bonus points for opting out of daily turn down service which I never take advantage of anyway so win-win! All in all, great place to stay!
Wedding reception here was amazing. They took care of my best friend and his wife with reservations areas for pictures. Great customer service! I would have stayed in a room if they weren't booked that evening!
Honestly, it's hard to give a review, because I only visited to attend a small comic con there. It seemed really nice. Luxurious. The few times I interacted with hotel staff they were all very polite.
The rooms are large with a wonderful view. They have a social hour every night with a nice snack and free alcohol. Free breakfast every morning that includes omletes. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only drawback is if you need a store, there is nothing for miles but I think the shuttle will take you to the grocery store. Otherwise, very nice!
The rooms were large and beautiful, with plenty of space. The windows on the top floors provide a great view. The pool and hot tub we're clean and refreshing, as well as the fitness center. The breakfast was amazing, there are cook to order chefs that can make whatever you want. It was a great experience.
Pretty nice hotel. I'm personally not a big fan of atrium style hotels because of the noise. This hotel makes up for it with the bedroom part of the suite being the farthest away from the door. The rooms had microwaves and refrigerators so that was nice. The blackout curtains in our room were torn up a bit which resulted in light getting in every morning. Also, the bed was way too soft. It was probably beyond the point of needing replacement. Still giving it four stars though. I was there for a conference and their catering and convention services were superb. Also, breakfast was great!
