Great campground. Diverse site selection. Clean and well-kept. Friendly, competent staff. A favorite.
Choosing a KOA cabin to spend my couple of nights in Hershey was definitely one of the memories I’ll will be bringing back to friends and family! Management was so nice and had their grounds and cabins spotless and cozy!
Will be returning soon!
Management was awesome!! If your debating where to stay when visiting the chocolate factory theres no other choice. There is camping then there is KOA kamping. You will not regret your stay!!
This campground is set up out in the country. We were only a few miles from every "tourist" area in all directions. The staffing here are so kind/courteous not to mention helpful. Their facilities are very clean and nicely arranged. The catch and release pond is a beautiful touch to the premises. It was so nice sitting on the dock watching the kids fishing. We have a travel trailer but if we decide to bring our grandchildren next trip I think I'd have to try one of their cabins. They look awesome!!!
Very clean. Friendly staff. An absolutely beautiful site. Level and easy to get in and out of. The pool was very nice, and it was well maintained. A short drive to Hershey, but far enough away to be private and quiet. Highly Recommend.
We stopped at the Elizabeth / Hershey KOA on our way to pick up our Grandson for two days and had a great time. Wonderful people with
a very well maintained campground. We came back two weeks later with our Grandson and stayed for 5 days. We had a great time with the pool,
French toast Sunday morning, ice cream from the store, and all the
attractions which were less then 45 min away. We can not wait to visit
next summer.
nice place - roomy sites - good facilitieswe decided to stay last minute due to some travel plan changesjust looking for one day to see the sites in Hershey - this was very convenient - well maintained park from what we saw (were not really there that much) stayed in a 40 ft motorhome with a tow vehicle and had more than enough room in our pull thru spot
Quiet, nice open sites, close but not annoyingly so. Grounds are well kept. Easy to park. Staff is very friendly. Are in a bit of a flight path but only a few per day were noticed.
Pros: The facilities at the top of the park are great, other older buildings need some remodeling. The staff were friendly. The park and facilities are clean and well kept. There were plenty of things to do both in the park and nearby. The zero entry for the kiddie pool was great for my hydrophobic son to be able to play in some water. My son had a great time mining fossils. We were happy to see they had recycling in addition to the dumpsters.
Cons: There is a massive yellow jacket population and we learned that my son is anaphylaxic to them and had a trip to the ER. There are a LOT of rules (which I understand is why the park looks as nice as it does) We had a couple of visitors for a few hours during a few days of our stay who had to pay $6 each time they came in.
Nice camp site. Staff could be friendlier. The amenities were a little warn down. The game room was not air conditioned. I would not recommend a mulch site for tent camping, pick grass. They did have a new air-conditioned bathroom / shower facility that was always very clean and pleasant. The firewood was expensive, you can buy some for half the price they sell just down the street from the entrance.
This was our first trip to Hershey KOA. And we will be returning!!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have wonderful activities for the children and adults to do together. The campsites are very nice. And the new bathrooms and showers are absolutely amazing. This is my new favorite campground. My little one loved it as well. Two thumbs up!!!!!
