Decent rate. Clean room. Mold in fridge, no battery in smoke detector and smoke detector was not hooked in to the hardwire. Quiet little place not far from attractions.

The front desk employees were very knowledgeable, charming and efficient! The room was refreshingly clean and aromatic! I was very pleased and will definitely be going back again!! Especially for such a great price!!

Clean enough for the fee you pay. Friendly employees. Location is great if you are coming for the beach, it's about 5min away if that.

Howard Johnson staff was friendly and courteous. Location isn't the greatest since it's right next the busiest highway in Panama City, but that also allows everything to be just a couple minutes away.

Rooms were clean and free of any odors. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Respectful staff! Only downside was carpet needs to be replaced due to regular wear and tear. Overall great stay for the price!

We booked it because it gave us the best choice on our corporate account. It was terrible. Blood was in the street in front of the hotel. The room had dirty floors and when we turned the shower on bugs went down the drain. The room is outdated and the walls need to be repainted. Cracks in the walls. When I first got there this girl comes out staring me downI guess trying to intimidate me :/ whatever. You could smell liquor as you went up the stairs. Trash was everywhere. We saw a lady come out the room with no pants. During the night a man and a lady were arguing. Sticky stuff was on the end table. Not staying at a Howard Johnsons again.

Howard Johnson is pretty good place to stay. The room was clean. The beds were nice. Everything in the room was working. Bathroom light had no light cover and the fan didn't work, but it didn't matter. Good service. They let us check in before check in time. All in all it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this motel.
