Accommodations are simple, but more than adequate. We had a 3 bedroom cottage with 2 bedrooms and a private pool for $110 per night. There was plenty of space for a couple of families, right across the street from the beach. Bring your own linens. Our stays are always pleasant and budget friendly. There are beach volleyball courts, basketball courts, and several pools all on site. It is always a wonderful stay!
Love staying here. Very nice and quiet. Beaches are right across the street and so beautiful
Great location and beautiful views all around! It Has a lovely set up with pools, volleyball and basketball courts. Although it could use some maintenance with the doors but despite that it's very nice
Staying for a football tournament. Having a great time and the houses are great. Not too fancy and very comfortable.
My mother works there. Great staff. Pools are always clean. Great place to take the family. Close to the water and very close to pier park. We go every year and always had a great time.
Great grounds and facilities. Excellent location and helpful staff. In my experience, it is a little strange to be asked to bring my own linens, but otherwise it is quite a nice experience.
This turned out to be a great place to stay, I will definitely stay there again. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that it was not a crowded area since it is south of all the high rises in Panama City Beach and also only about 35-40 miles from Destin. I enjoyed visiting the coffee shop and gift shop. The room was a basic room but very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were on the third floor overlooking the ocean so we enjoyed our balcony and the view. This is definitely a good place to bring a large group and have a retreat. I plan to go back.
The rooms are nice and simple, perfect when you spend most of your time outside. The meals we had were cafeteria style, but the food is delicious (pasta with grilled chicken, ribs, etc). I've only spent one night here and I already feel at home here. There are 4+ pools in the complex if you don't fancy the ocean. Also, beware of the humidity if you're not from around here. It takes some getting used to. One final thing, there are decent mechanic shops close by to make sure your car gets home. Overall, I'm having a awesome time here. This is a lovely place to stay in Florida, and I would love to visit again next year!
Laguna Beach Christian Resort is a spectacular instance of generosity and fun. On a sold out week, it can handle over a thousand visitors, though this requires rooming 8 or more people to very small rooms. This is a positive, as it leads to excellent bonding time. It looks over a gorgeous stretch of the Gulf, and has dozens of pools for those who prefer it. It is near, but not too near, a moderately sized shopping district, with plenty of attractions nearby. Costs tend to be hugely minimized, thanks to their generosity and cost cutting techniques like rotational meal serving. Fantastic location and community.
It is a great, inexpensive place to stay on the beach! Very family friendly. Easy beach access. Sand volleyball, basketball, and pools.
Great place with good housing, food and recreational options right next to the beach!
Good place for the money Especially if you don't have Kobe Bryant type money
Laguna Beach has always been a family oriented place. I have always enjoyed their swimming pools, volleyball courts, and basketball court. Their private beach is right across the street, literally. The house I am staying, it has huge rooms that are very welcoming.
We got a newer cabin, an extension of the original units. It was very beautiful, pretty much like a house! We easily fit 11 people inside. The only thing that became difficult was bathroom/shower time, because there was only one restroom. Otherwise, the amenities, the multiple pools/volleyball fields, and close proximity to the beach make me come every year!
