The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the front desk and staff that I did encounter were very nice and friendly. Other than that it wasn't a good stay. It was very busy, loud, and just gave off an all around bad vibe. Police patrolled the area in and around the hotel several times. Definitely wouldn't recommend staying with children under 10 either!

Cindy in the front office was great she made sure I was happy and answered all my questions, the staff was very friendly and my maid was very nice, the rooms are basic no frills but comfortable for the price, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping stores within walking distance. If your looking for a decent place to stay I would recommend Howard Johnson for the price.

Check in was somewhat hectic as the guy at the front desk couldn't find our reservation. 10 mins later finally all was sorted and we got our room key.
Overall the room was great as expected at this level hotel. The shower was clean and it seemed to be renovated recently.response / report this review -

I affectionately call this hotel, "hotel hell." The positives: it's clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower is hot, great tv, continental breakfast, laundry facility, hotel staff is always friendly to us and pet friendly. The negatives: MAJOR drug dealing and prostitution. It's so bad, the dealers and prostitutes don't even attempt to be sly about it. We've stayed here off and on through out the past 4 years, and the riff raff have just gotten worse.

I have never posted a review for anything before but it was so bad I made an account to protect and serve people that don’t want to walk into the worst possible hotel experience ever. It was literally the worst hotel I have ever seen or been to in my life. This place is disgusting, visible semen and bleach stains on sheets, drug dealers and prostitution was everywhere. 2 minutes after we walked to the damp disgusting room a co worker and I almost quit our job and lost 800 a piece because we would rather lose the money then stay in this filth. Luckily out boss got us another hotel after reading the reviews. Ew, just ew man.

Very scary! I'm pretty sure their running prostitution and drugs through the place. I had a non smoking room and it smelt like cigarettes and mold. The bathroom door had huge holes all over it, and would not close. The lock on the door did not work, and the house keeper walked in my room three different times. 😲 Vampires and likings outside all night fighting and screaming. Horrible experience!

Wished I could give 0 stars.Called and reserved 2 rooms at 147.00 winch was already price way to high but we were working in town. When we got to motel guy told us that we didn't have a room reserved. After driving 2 hours to motel. While setting in parking lot trying to find another room watched a drug deal go down in front of office would not recommend to noone

For the money..46$ on priceline..its good enough. the room was clean, beds clean carpet was clean. It is out dated a little,but no complaints here. Left from the keys and stayed here on our way back to Indiana.pool is a plus too!I think it's a good deal. would stay here again if coming back this way.

The Howard Johnson's in Fort Myers is a great location the rooms are clean and this room service sucks cuz they try to come in your room when you tell them not to

All and all wasn't a bad stay. Room was ready when we arrived, breakfast was simple and started when they said it would. Clean with no trash left from prior persons. The restraunts in walking distance and jet blue park not to far by car so that all worked out.

Read Previous reviews. was scared to stay but had a great price for 2 rooms. Let me just say this. previous reviews are GARBAGE and from when old management ran this place.
Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean, paint is fresh, beds are comfortable and air conditioning will FREEZE you out!!!!
pool is clean and comfortable, staff was very accommodating!!!!
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!

We are passing through and stopped for a short overnight visit with friends. I chose this hotel due to its location and them having semi parking. We enjoyed the pool very much. The area is clean and the pool is a nice size. We opted for the double bed room since it was closer to the truck parking. There is some cosmetic issues that could be fixed but everything is in working order. Everything seemed clean and I haven't seen any bugs but the carpet really needs cleaned. I didn't notice it being dirty but I don't like to wear shoes and within an hour of showering my feet are black! The staff is very friendly and helpful. If ever back in this area in the truck, we will stay again. If we come by car, it will still be a contender but I'd prefer to be closer to the beach

As always the food was delicious - some new Asian inspired items on the menu. The service is impeccable. This is a go to restaurant in this area and it deserves to be.
