Well, where to begin, they're currently renovating their hotel. Didn't offer any hot breakfast, the water for the shower wasn't running right, wasn't the greatest experience. I would much rather stay somewhere else but at least they're in the middle of renovating. So they're improving, might be because of the hurricane. I would try them again but not for a year.

The manager I delt with was very nice and accommodating. I travel a lot for work and always stay in la quintas and this is by far the best customer service I have ever gotten from the many months I have stayed inside one of these hotels.

Clean rooms. They're in the process of improvements. Staff friendly. Prices too high for what they offer though. Way too high. TV and stations as well as reception good. New paint and sheets. Rugs need to be replaced.
    Overall a good place.

We are staying here as refuge from hurricane Irma. The manager and staff have been very very gracious, supportive and helpfull. Going above and beyond to make everybody comfortable and handing out food to all the guest. I recommend this place to all. They are top of the line in my book. Many thanks

Nice employees, but room had little to desire. There was no microwave or refrigerator. Had to pull bed away from wall to get to electric outlet then called housekeeping to sweep behind bed after seeing a very gross mess that hadn't been swept in a long time. Also learned not to walk On carpet with white socks, they turned nasty blackish. On plus side again staff was very kind and helpful, close to a lot of restaurants and shops, plus they allow pets. Also has washer and dryer area and a nice swimming pool, with plenty of lounge chairs.

The room was really nice and they had complementory breakfast. I enjoyed the pool and everyone was nice and welcoming. We stayed in at La Quinta in Tampa before and had a good experience there as well. There is a Mel's diner at visible/ walking distance (no car needed). They also accept pets for no extra charge.

This place failed to meet the basic needs of finding a simple shelter, sanitary and safe. I was supposed to be on vacation and checked in to be told that I was being given a room under maintenance. The only other options for my 2 week advanced reservation was another under maintenance room. I entered the room and noticed the air conditioning was broken, when I tried to take a shower the shower was caked with black in between the tiles and only was given lotion placed in the shower. I then went to the front desk to request for shampoo and advise the air conditioning ingredients situation and asked would a room be available the following day. I was told no availability and that it's a good thing the weather is about to get cold. I slept the first night in heat. I had loud, large sparks flare from their sockets when I went to turn on a light. This is just not safe at all. Now I'm not able to use lamps due to safety concern. The floors had wet spots entering in the room and around the bed. I then only ever wore flip flops. I had better experiences at no tell motels. I selected to stay at a la quinta because the name brand is known to being a better experience. This place has made me loose all faith in that brand just because they allow this facility to continue up to stay in business without any renovations or improvements. Please avoid this place!!!

It was worn but clean enough. But the beds were rock hard and the pillows like hockey pucks. Something must have been in the air ducts, because I became ill every night. Never again. I usually like La Quintas. They were pet friendly, but most are. Do yourself a favor and choose s different one. Only bright spot was the Mel's diner next door

The rooms here were clean. There were no garbage bags in the garbage recepticles, which I thought was kind of nasty. The only major problem we had was, when I called, ahead of time, to reserve my room at the lower rate (for reserving ahead of time), I asked if they were located across from the Page Airport. And, they said yes. But, it wasn't the correct location. There are two airports in Ft Myers! The International Airport, and the Page Field Airport. Since they said it was the location across from the Page Airport, I made my reservation there. When I went to check in, I discovered I had no reservation. I then had to call and cancel my reservation at the incorrect location, and get a room at the hotel I was at (which is the location I had originally thought I was making my reservation to begin with). Then, to boot, I didn't get the discounted fee for making my reservation ahead of time, even though I was on speaker phone with the other location, while I stood in the office at this location. You would think they were all connected, and could fix a simple problem like that. Apparently not. Otherwise, we had a nice stay, that didn't cost am arm and a leg! I've been to this location several times over the years, and will continue to go there. It's centrally located, so it's easy to get just about everywhere, and it's in a nice area to.

Due to an emergency hurricane evacuation across the state, My boyfriend, our chocolate lab and I headed to fort Myers as quick as possible. We were very concerned after reading the reviews about this hotel. During check in-the front desk men (Gregory and Rey) were very helpful and polite. Still nervous to see our room, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. No loud noises or sketchy people so far. For a 65$/night, we are very pleased so far with our stay.
