Good location very close to all the action (to the beach and to bars and night club minutes walk only). They charge 20 $ for amenities internet beach towels and relaxes at the beach. Room ok. Internet ok. Parking is 20 $
A small and elegant boutique hotel in the South of Fifth neighborhood.
A nice change from the big chain hotels, this is cozy and charming while taking care of the essentials to make a home away from home during a beach holiday.
Just a couple blocks South of Fifth Street, the beach, restaurants, and shopping are all within 5 minutes walking distance.
If you are driving a city parking garage is just 3 blocks away.
The carpet in the hall looks like from the 70s and is full of dirty old stains. The breakfast could be considered as the worst ever. No fresh stuff at all. Some supermarket bagels and bread and some jams and peanutbutter. No meat, no fruits. You sit with other poeple st a small orange colored bar. Cutlery, cups and plates are in plastic. What a waste. Youbhave to hope thst you dont come during breakfast rushhour or you have to sit on a couch without a table to eat your breakfast. Our room was right next to the ice machine (why do people need ice at 7 oclock??). Also the AC seems from the 70s. The thermostate is definitely super old and the it's super loud. Yes, it cooled the room nicely but the cold wind was blowing directly in my face while laying in bed. Also our room was next to the parking lot. As cars honks when closing also this woke me up several times. It sounded like there was no window at all. Due to all this facts sleeping well was a challenge...
The bathroom is nice and big and there's 24/7 free Statbucks coffee.
The hotel was not handicap friendly, it was very clean. We had too change our sheets. The night shift person was horrible but the day shift person was helpful and friendly. It could be a great place with a little more staff and a little more attention to details.
Very nice hotel , parking lot in back is pretty tight , friendly staff , walking distance from gas station , CVS several restaurants...
Nice rooms but no fridge. Parking was $20. The incredible customer service made up for any shortcomings.
Pretty worn down but you get what you pay for. Amazing walk-in shower though!! Location is amazing, nice little breakfast, pleasant staff.
I loved that this is an economically priced hotel. The room had a nice shower, spacious, was clean, safe, and all the usual accommodations. Parking was available in their lot, easy access at $20 per night. The lot was a bit tight for suvs but smaller cars are perfect. There was a Starbucks machine in the lobby and the staff was friendly. It was also situated away from all of the noise and congestion of south beach a few streets over. I definitely will be back when I visit Miami.
The reception guy job was excellent. There are open space room.
Great combination of price-comfort-location-service: it's close to the South Beach, breakfast is included, stuff is polite and helpful.
Wonderful staff. Excellent location.
I called several days in advance to explain that our flight was arriving early in the day. I spoke to Javier and asked what our options are for an early check in. He told me just to show up at the hotel, that the desk was staffed 24/7 and it'd be no problem to get in. When we arrived we were told it was sold out and that we'd have to wait for a room to open. The man we checked in with told us he'd take care of parking because of the mix up but we were told upon check out that we still owed for parking. I tried to explain the situation to the man we checked out with who insisted we had to pay for the room the night before if we wanted a guaranteed early check in and that this wasn't the hotels fault. My mother's a travel agent and I understand having to book a room for two nights which is why I called to do that so when I was told not to worry about it, I didn't. I think this hotel has poor communication and poor customer service.
The room was decent, nice bed and good shower but I can't recommend it due to their rudeness.
Rooms could get a bit stuffy in the hot weather but the location is perfect for things to do at miami beach - most things were within walking distance. Service was always polite and helpful.
