Beautiful hotel in the best location of the island! You feel pampered from the minute you walk in and the continental breakfast is delicious. The staff are very helpful and I love the front porch! I can't wait to come back!

Hotel Iroquois is a beautiful old Victorian building. There are no elevators, but we didn't mind climbing the stairs. Our suite on the top floor had two bedrooms, each with its own bath. Between the rooms was a bicr sitting area with beautiful Lake Huron views. We had our fridge stocked with complimentary champagne, soft drinks. They were always bringing fresh ice to the room. The linens were changed and turned down each night. As you lay in bed, you can hear the waves lapping at the shore. The included free breakfast consisted of crossants and muffins, fruit and juice or coffee. Would have been better to have hot oatmeal or bagels or some other options. Other than that, we highly recommend.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Iroquois for our 1st wedding anniversary trip. The staff was super accommodating in every aspect - room service, luggage porters, wait staff, the front desk. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake, was very comfortable, and clean. We also loved that we were only a few steps away from all the shops and restaurants. We also ate at the Carriage House for dinner one night and would definitely recommend that as well. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Everything was definitely worth it!

Perfect waterfront location, clean, unique decors, family operated. Pro active front desk help, eager to take the extra step to satisfy every guest with a smile.
Quick and efficient housekeeping, oversized rooms, small amount of rooms for accommodation but very elegant. Beautiful architect work on every room, and very well maintained.
Manicured landscape, through out the entire property. Flowers, every where. Fine dinning at its best. Bit pricey, but every thing on the island is. Ideal for honeymooners, families with children, coupples.response / report this review -

I had dinner at this hotel in it's restaurant, Carriage House. The restaurant has a great view of the lake and also a park on the side. There were not that many items on the menu but that's not saying it's bad. It usually means the kitchen doesn't overstretch itself so the food quality is generally good. And the dish I got, the lemon Mediterranean chicken was good. It was kind of pricey for what it was, $30 but no complaints about the taste or tenderness. It is in a tourist destination and I can imagine the transport costs to get all the ingredients were built into the price. It was a decent experience. The view was probably the key experience.

We stayed at Hotel Iroquois for a long weekend with our 6 year old daughter. We have visited Mackinac Island before, however, this was our first experience actually staying on the island. Hotel Iroquois made our stay exceptional. The views were breathtaking, the room was outstanding and the staff were very helpful. The room was more than we ever expected and the nightly turn down service was a welcome surprise after an evening venturing out for dinner. The quality of service speaks highly for the proprietress as the staff must be treated very well. The overall feel of the hotel enhances the vintage feel of the island. I highly recommend this hotel for families and couples. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Mackinac Island!

We loved every aspect of our stay! Everyone at the front desk has been helpful & kind. Kate with housekeeping came to our rescue as we had a 3 year old get Sicky in thier bed. We will definitely be coming back!

My goodness! This place has the best view ever! It is absolutely stunning. You really pay for what you get and you will not regret this I guarantee you! The room and the decoration overall was outstanding! I love every single bit of it!
