I spent only one night there but I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was on the first floor and had a patio in the back which gave you a perfect view of the sunrise over the lake. It was maybe 30 yards from our room to the beach. The included breakfast was on par with other hotels. They had a swimming pool, hot tub and spa too. Definitely on my list of places to come back and visit.

Lovely hotel :) beautiful view from our room of the lake . The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, we had a fireplace too :)) , bathroom was spotless.
Very nice staff, got our room ready earlier since we arrived earlier and were nice about parking our big semi truck there. Breakfast was tasty, and we also had access to a small fitness room next door. Price was an awesome , low rate for that day. Lucky us !response / report this review -

Love this place!! First hotel we have ever stayed in that is EXACTLY as it is described! From entering the hallways to entering our room, this hotel was clean and smelled so nice! I hate funky smells and most hotels have them but, not this one! The room is fantastic and looks just like the pictures. Usually the pics are taken when the place was new and when u check in it looks 30 years older, not Breakers. The town is fantastic and we r soooooo glad we came back for our anniversary again this year! This will always be our long weekend getaway. Breakers Resort is worth every penny spent and the views are incredible!!

Friendly staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Offered the ferry tickets at a discount as well. Beautiful lakeside property, sandy beach just steps from our patio door. Tons of seagulls on the beach and grass area. Room was nice, two queen beds were comfortable, shower filled with hot water. Delicious hot breakfast available in the morning. Highly recommend for an overnight in St Ignace!

Great price for the room (we are here off-season, but it is much cheaper than the holiday inn next door at this time). The view is great. The Continental breakfast is alright. One day our room wasn't touched by the maids, but that must have been a fluke.

Nice room and a good location. There was a bunch of bugs inside and outside of the hotel and whenever the wind would blow the window would whistle. There was also a bunch of trash in the room. Upon checking in, they didn't ask me if I had an animal assuming that when booking the hotel room it would pay for such. I'm my second day here I was stopped as I was leaving the parking lot by an older woman whom just stopped in front if my car asking if I have a dog and then to tell me that I would have to pay extra for the dog and that I couldn't leave my dog in my hotel room as I was out an about even though he was in a crate. I had a privacy sign that I had specifically took off of my door when I was leaving so as we were gone they could change the sheets. When I arrived back at the hotel room later that day, they had put a privacy sign on my door and then put a card saying that they didn't service me because of such. I am 100% dissatisfied with the service here and will not refer anyone to this place nor will I return.

amazing view from hotel room onto the water. Right on the beach. Close to shopping districs. Pool water was really cloudy. Not what we wanted to swim in. Over all, room and location were perfect though

Great view. The hotel is right next to the beach. Cheap. Also when they advertise guest bathroom, it's not a guest bathroom. The bathrooms are really small and the sink is not even in the bathroom, it's outside the bathroom. Overall though its a good resort to stay at.

Husband and I took an impromptu weekend Vaca and wasn't sure where to go. I saw this hotel online and called to find out what the hotel had to offer along with rates. Andy was Amazing he went above and beyond answering questions, letting me know all that was around the area, as well as getting us exactly what we were looking for. Got to the hotel was greeted by his Awesome personality and customer service. Our room was gorgeous, clean and the view was breath taking. Breakfast was yummy and we had the pleasure of being waited on by Tammy, who also was amazing!! Hands down wonderful experience we will be back!!!
