It was nice. The room was a little small and breakfast area was crowded before breakfast started until after it ended. Beach is perfect

I stay at this hotel at least once every year for work. The hotel is very nice, the staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and organized. The continental breakfast offers many options. The hotel does have a pool but I haven't used it. I do see quite a few people in swimming each time though. I recommend the Lakeview or lake front rooms so that you can hear the waves crashing at night. There is a small Beach which does offer fire rings for nightly bonfires.

What a great staff! The night manager was amazing. All the staff I encountered were friendly (even the maintenance guy in the elevator.)

There was absolutely nothing wrong with my stay here. I just keep that 5th star for the crazy awesome life moments.

Great location for this hotel! I love the room we get, right off the water! It's so beautiful on a clear night skies near the water. The breakfast is so so, and room service is non existent, but I just come here to relax and get my self away from the world!

The view to the lake was incredible if you get a room that faces the lake. The beds were comfy with ample bed coverings. The rooms were pretty standard sized but if you manage to get a corner room, they are oddly shaped which actually turns out to be more room in the room. The continental breakfast was decent, nothing to write home about. The hot tub was a good temperature and my niece and nephew loved the pool. My only real complaint is there is only one ice machine and it's on the main floor in the lobby, otherwise I highly recommend this place, and get the lake facing room, falling asleep to the waves hitting the shore is very relaxing. I'm not sure if all rooms have it, but mine had a fridge and a microwave. Great hotel.

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Our phone didn't work, but they fixed it right away. (Last guests plugged it into the wrong jack). Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view of the beach and Mackinac Bridge from our room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Pool open until 11pm. Only bad thing was that the Jets on the hot tub didn't work (they were waiting for a part to come in) so no bubbles with our hot water. It was nice that I was able to buy discounted tickets for the ferry to Mackinac Island at the front desk and they I just added it to my bill. Breakfast was standardard hotel breakfast. I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Nice room with a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Cucumber water in lobby was refreshing.

The hotel was recently renovated and our room was mostly great. The bed was nice and soft, and the AC worked pretty well too. The fridge had a compressor that made a high pitch whine, and the shower rod need to be remounted. However, the rooms was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner in the area.

My room got upgraded so that's a plus. I walked into the elevator and it smelled like poo and chlorine. The room was found to be clean but freezing. Running the heater overnight didn't help. The tile in the entryway and bathroom was very slippery, definitely a falling hazard. If you're 6' tall like me, have fun in the shower. Not a very soundproof room. The bed was comfortable, the view was great.
