The buying experience was very stress free at Honda Morristown. I purchased a 2018 CR-V EX AWD. Never did I feel pressured to purchase the automobile. Via email and text all my questions and concerns were addressed. We established a price up front that was very reasonable. Then I made an appointment to come in and complete the purchase. There was no haggling with the sales manager and getting beat down to accepting something that made you feel uncomfortable. All of the employees that interfaced with me were very knowledgeable and professional in their respective roles. They made sure I understood the features and options available for my choice. I enjoyed the whole process and look forward to having my automobile serviced there. I certainly recommend Honda Morristown to anyone that is looking for a new automobile.
*Warning of safety Issues and faulty work*
Editing since I was asked. After a week of fighting and dealing with them. And continuously telling then I DO NOT want to trade my Acadia in for a Tahoe from them and pay more, we came to a solution. Well I solution that they are agreeing with. They will fix the rack and pinion on my Acadia and pay half. I will have to pay the other half. Hopefully the work will be done soon and I can edit my review again. I still have to come up with the 800 for my half.
I wish I could leave them a higher review because after hours of dealing, they finally came around to stop haggling me on my agreed monthly payments and sold me the vehicle at 9pm at night But it's become an issue of safety that they caused and refused to fix. We brought our used vehicle back the next day for a power steering whine. They did a flush to "fix" The issue. Meaning, they did the cheapest possible fix they could which did not get rid of the whine completely. 2 months later, that flush caused the rack and pinion to blow and massively leak. I have 2 different shops who will back this too. If it wasn't for me taking the vehicle into the shop for a battery, I would have never known how bad it was because according to Honda, it didn't leak when it left the shop. But it dies now not even 2 months?! So, now I am afraid to put my kids in a vehicle that cause lose power steering going down the interstate. They're out the money they spent for the flush but I am out a vehicle I have made 3 payments on.
Side note: when I bought the vehicle, it needed tires. They refused to replace them because it passed "they're safety standards." Which must be pretty low since the tires are bald on the inside.
And that doesn't include the navigation system they said they would fix day of purchase. I took the vehicle to a shop by me and it needs a whole new radio. Not just a navigation CD they got from another vehicle and tossed in again, not fixing the issue but doing the cheapest possible thing.
Moral of the story, steer clear of them and their "safety standards" because they're pretty low. And you'll wind up with an unsafe vehicle.
Treated me good and purchase was fair without a lot of haggling. I can feel good about the purchase. Best auto dealership I have been to this far. Certainly the best in Morristown.
It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. David Davis was my salesperson. I couldn’t have been happier with him. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicles. There was no pressure to make a decision. When I got to finance, Rusty was great to work with. He made the paperwork straight forward and painless. Kibbee reviewed the vehicle with me and I felt very good about understanding the features.
Very displeased with service! Used to be a fabulous place to do business but gone downhill in the last few years! Every time I leave I feel like I’ve been robbed. Take it for free oil change they want three hundred dollars to rotate and align tires. Take it back for a light on dashboard charge 80$ just to look at it and want 900 to fix it. Don’t be fooled by lifetime warranty! Every time you go expect to wait two to four hours! Horrible! Will never do business there ever again!
I'm giving them a 3 star for right now. We bought a used car on Oct. 21,2017. The salesman Lester was very good and knows his business well. He has a good sense of humor and used it like a pro. (That's a compliment Lester not a put down.)
HOWEVER we were made to believe our payments were to be for 72 months. Working with the financial dept. I would caution anyone buying a car READ EVERY PAPER YOUR SIGNATURE goes on!!! I can not stress this enough. We were under the understanding payments were 72 months Ended up being 75 months. Also our millage was documented less than what the actual millage was. Though, was not the fault of the financial dept., but I was disappointed that it slipped by when a car was being purchased. Wasn't very professional. No, reflection on Rusty. I went back to the dealership to ask questions concerning understanding the warranty on our car. They were very kind to explain, and also corrected the paper work concerning the wrong odometer reading. I had also noticed that the oil hadn't been changed before we bought it as was suppose to be. I brought this to the Rusty's attention and he worked it out with the service dept. I was told to bring the car in at our convenience for the oil change.
I arrived at 9am the following morning, Oct.24,2017. They seemed polite and told me to wait in waiting room. After some time around one hour and ten minutes, they came and got me. Handed me the paper work and pointed me to my car. On my way home the car stunk like burnt oil. I have had my oil changed many times and never had that happen to me.
Later that day Rusty called asked if one of us could come in and sign some papers they forgot. We went, while signing the carfax papers I explained to Rusty about how the service dept. had either done a sloppy job or just didn't care. He was willing to go talk to them and have them clean it. However my husband said just let it burn off. So, we just let it go. Today, I noticed the service dept., wrote the wrong mileage down on my oil change paper. My question is Why is it difficult to write down the correct information. I'm wondering if Honda will be honest with me if I take the vehicle to them for repairs. I'll update on this post after I talk to them. I want to have a good customer relationship with them. I'm hoping they will be honest and fair with us.
Our experience buying from Honda Morristown was great. Everyone from sales representative to the manager were very friendly and did a nice job getting us a great deal. Keep up the great reputation.
Kim sold us a perfect car! 30 days later, this car lot contacted us for a 'check up'. Kim called too! In other words, buy
here! Ask for Kim, she's awesome!
My salesman was amazing! Robert picked the best car that suited my needs and my budget and made sure I left happy. The pre-owned sales manager was very cordial and inviting and done a fine job of getting us in and out and on our way. The sales team earned their five stars! However, the detail job was poor and i would never recommend anyone to take their car for that purpose. I could have done a better job on my own. They left my windshield filthy and didn't clean out the door pockets or the console.
This is the 4th new vehicle I've bought in the past 15 years. Other dealers have been OK to work with, but Honda Morristown is, hands down, the easiest process I've been involved in.
Spencer Price was a pleasure to work with. I told him going in that I was going to buy the vehicle, the question was who was going to sell it to me. The bottom line would be the determining factor. Spencer, Greg and Matt all worked together and gave me a good price on the new Pilot and a good value for my 2012 Ram 1500 trade.
I had done my research ahead of time using the Honda website, Kelly Blue Book site and NADA site. Everything was in line with what I had researched.
my wife and I went here for an oil change and tire rotation. When we arrived there were 4 people in the service bay and no one approached us to help us. When we did get someone's attention we were passed around like a joint during the 60s. the guy at the counter tried selling us on things we didn't need, and was persistant even after we said no. When we received the bill, we had a charge on there for road side assistance for our tires and was told that's something they automatically do. we told them we didn't need it because our insurance covers that. the guy got pissed and finally took it off. needless to say, I'll not go back. these guys suck!
Great service and hassle free. Try out Honda Morristown I don't think you will be disappointed.
Just driving through when we found our A/C was not working correctly. Called Knoxville and Morristown Honda. After checking with their service dept at both sites, Morristown assured us we would be seen and evaluated ON A SATURDAY!! Wow, friendly service and let us borrow a loaner so we could get lunch. Way to go, Morristown Honda!
These guys are awesome!! Fun and very helpful they will go the distance to get you exactly what your looking for but actually make buying a car not so boring. Everyone there that helped me get my car was informative and we actually had a great time, I'd recommend them to everyone in the surrounding areas, and my future business will always be at honda in Morristown before I go anywhere else!! Hands down.
I visited the dealership today to buy my first car. They were an awesome team. I thank Rodney and Randy a great deal. They were able to help me get a car that I really love, and I can't thank them enough for that. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about their vehicles. They bent over backwards for me and not many dealerships will do that for their customers. I give Honda of Morristown a big thumbs up!!!
