Friendly staff. Covered loading area. Wide hallways. Nice Christmas trees. Attached bar is convenient. Showing its age but I'd stay there again.

The hotel was clean but had a very strong smelling lower hallway. Staff was friendly. Nothing to make the location stand out in a bad way. There was a very lively bar attached to the side of the hotel, but the noise didn't carry inside. Location was very close to some white water rafting sites which was very convenient.

This place is in desperate need of remodeling inside and out. The Internet pictures are probably 30yrs old. I stayed here 5 days because my company booked me here. The hotel is nearly vacant, the pool and jacuzzi smell like mildew with tiles missing. The workout room has one 10lb weight and most machines are broken or simply don't work correctly. The game room looks abandoned with most games not working. The first room they tried to put me in smelled of mold so bad I couldn't breath. The breakfast buffet is sparse. They did give me another room. Decor is 1980's, no desk for business work. Room and hallway carpets are dirty. The lobby and staff are nice and try their best under the circumstances.

No complaints. The lady at the desk was friendly. The breakfast was minimal but good. We enjoyed our stay and will stay next time we visit that area.

Everything was fine here. The staff is friendly and helpful enough. There is a restaurant attached that does room service and has a hot breakfast buffet that is included. More than I expected from a sleepy little west Virginia town. It wasn't amazing, just comfortable and clean.

Staff was very nice. Elevator near my room was out of service. Room with pullout couch is a little small especially when you pull the bed out. Very spacious bathroom though. Has a restaurant attached but I think they are only open for breakfast? Breakfast was average, if you're making toast or a bagel, the toaster takes forever. Did not like the orange juice. Bar had good service, pool tables looked like they had taken some water damage and one was out of order. Game room is cool but would be better if it stayed open. Pool was alright, 3'9" depth good for little ones. Overall a good experience, would say the place could use a little updating.

The location was nice. Very close to where we planned to raft, but the room was small and the continental breakfast was hardly anything. The Internet was slow, and the TVs to were very low definition. The service was pretty great though, we got extra towels and pillows immediately upon request at the front desk, and they were always smiling and happy to help!

Bed was comfortable, hot tub was nice, & breakfast was hot. The first floor was all non smoking but the hallway smelled like a smoking floor

We had no microwave, the pool area was very nasty, the hot tube was broke and even cut my childs foot, it had nasty stuff in it looked like has not been cleaned in forever! the over all of the hotel was old run down looking, wall paper coming off. the toilet sat sideways in our room. the air didnt half work. i feel like it could be better for the price.

The room and hotel facilities were.completely fine. Very happy with the room, etc. I really liked the complimentary cooked breakfast (with cereal, fruit, toast etc as well). The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. I really liked my stay here and would be happy to do so again.

I booked this hotel for my parents for their first time visiting me since I moved here 3 years ago and for their anniversary. It was awesome, my parents loved it. I booked it through expedia for 3 nights (cheapest pet fee in town if you have pets) and ended up extending one more night and the lady at the desk (who was so nice and welcoming) matched my rate. My parents will be back in a couple of months and they want to stay there again. Thank You Holiday Lodge for helping me give my parents an amazing trip.
