If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
First and last time here! My family arrived at 2am and we stayed 2 nights at this location. The receptionist that checked me in was bothered from the star. Did not greet us all. As I told the receptionist my reservation name, she rudely and unprofessionally answers us with a "huh". I get that my name is not very common but that was unnecessary. Well once my rude check in was completed she handed me the card envelope with a "here you go" and wanted nothing more to do with me. She only gave us one card knowing we where in a group of 4. She failed to mention the room number or what floor its on, what time was check out, the wifi access, or any other important information we may need. The room was decent, a few stains on the floor and doors, beds where clean. The next day we called and complained about the discourteous host and day staff helped with the missing information. We though all was taken care of but to our surprise we are getting charged by the hotel! I called to figure out what was going on but the receptionist kept leaving me on hold for long periods of time every time I called. I was never able to speak to anyone until 10 pm, back to the poorly trained night shift staff, great! The lady I spoke to started accusing me of having altercations, implying I was being deviant causing some kind of wall damage costing me $150!! As I am trying to explain we have no idea what they are talking about the staff kept talking over me telling me telling me no, I will pay them anyways. I asked to speak to a manager or some one else, her reply to me was "No!" This was my sons birthday trip All we did was sleep and shower at this hotel and not only did we get horrible service checking in I am being accused of deviant activities! I find it odd that after filing a complain on an employee I get charged for some bogus charges. Currently waiting on corporate to resolve my dispute. Worst experience ever.
Provided shelter after a cancelled flight in a rare San Antonio snow event. Staff were friendly, professional, helpful. Room was clean and comfy.
The location was great because it was right outside of downtown! Also the rooms were great! Everything was there and tidy. The service was pretty good too.
Friendly staff, breakfast bar was fresh, rooms were always clean. Gym is small but clean and well kept. Pool is nice. Management actually came behind the housekkepping staff to ensure the room was clean and meet my expectations.
Absolutely have to give it 5 stars! I have bought hundreds of rooms at this property this year for my employees. Never had an issue yet. It's a nice hotel with a good bar and restaurant. Today I checked back into the hotel after finding out I needed to be in town longer. THANKFULLY they have a laundry room for guests. I was tired and out of clean clothes. And the girls up front even put me in a room next to the laundry to help me out. I love staying here!
Nice hotel about a mile from the airport. Rooms are a little run down because of high traffic. Great free shuttle service that takes you within a 3 mile radius. You can get to several restaurant venues, a shopping mall and the Alamo Quarry. Alamo Quarry is a rock quarry that is now an outdoor shopping mall with Trader Joe's, movie theater, variety of specialty stores and restaurants.
Very nice hotel with lots of amenities. Front desk staff is always courteous and helpful. I was there for a conference and have had the pleasure of attending several conferences there. Hotel shuttle is not just for overnight guests but they are always willing to take guests attending day conferences. Snacks and water were provided to us at regular intervals. Good variety of choices.
I give three stars for the amazing staffs and services.
The missing two stars = I just cannot believe that the hotel only has 3 laundries and dryers. This hotel has 11 floors. And with only 3 laundries?! Whoever planned this needs to get fired. Not only it has 3. 2 are out of service. On top of that, it's $2 for wash and $2 to dry. If you don't have detergent or dryer sheet, it's 1.25 per item. So you're looking at $6 per load.
All the hotels I've been to has a laundry room per floor or per ever floor.
When I first entered the hotel, I wasn't terribly impressed. However, after I got into my room, it was actually quite nice. The rooms are a little small for for people, but are still decently nice. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The hotel has a fitness center and a pool. One of the more prominent features of the hotel is its proximity to the airport, and the shuttle system that goes along with it.
Clean hotel, not your typical parking lot entrance, parking lot can be a bit dim when arriving late, but security presence offsets that. Don't know the rate as my room was paid for me by a frequent Holiday Inn guests rewards points program. Great patio and space for relaxing after a day on the town, moving relatives (:D), etc Etc.. very decent restaurant and bar open, had multiple displays at this time displaying Psurs playoff basketball. Great personable staff, 7 out of 10 on breakfast buffet food quality so worth that extra five bucks. We've been coming to this hotel once a year for at least five years, so yeah, we'll be back again.
Beautiful renovation to upgrade the look and feel of the hotel. Change gives the hotel a chic look. Awesome staff. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Always enjoyed my visits at this hotel. Looking forward to enjoying it in the future.
Attended a sweet 16 for my twin cousins. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were conveniently located. I would suggest putting a changing table in the men's bathroom. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. I definitely enjoyed it.
Total dump. Stay there a few times a year for work. Many of us complain, but it falls on deaf ears. Reader's Digest Version. Room was hot and wouldn't cool down. It was so hot, I kept waking up every hour or so. Looked out window and saw trailer o air conditioners connected to hotel. Also found fleas in room, one jumped into my bag then on my arm. This necessitated putting my belongings in garbage bags and stripping outside once I got home. Elevators, were also scarythey say capacity 12 people or 2500lbs, but then have bright green locally produced signs that say maximum 6 people. So from an engineering standpoint, the place isn't doing well in terms of its AC and elevators. It's conveniently located next to the highways and near nothing.
I will say the staff is friendly and helpful and in good spirits.
