Nice hotel with very decent services. The employees are nice and the facility is well managed. Breakfast was included and they have a wide variety of food to choose from. The hotel is located close to the downtown area, walking distance to all the main attractions like the Alamos and the Riverwalk

Great location by to the convention center (an easy walk to and from if you're doing a conference/event there). Breakfast was the standard hotel powdered eggs, boiled eggs, oatmeal, etc. Pillows were full (mix of cotton and down on the bed so you could choose your preference). Had a mini fridge and microwave.

Rooms were fairly small. Beds were comfy. They have overnight valet parking $24. usually never stay here but it wasn't too bad, just incredibly hot.

The location was convenient for getting around downtown and Riverwalk areas. There was a used coffee filter in the machine in our room, but other than that quite clean. It was pretty noisy outside at night, but it shouldn't bother you if you're a deep sleeper (they also provide ear plugs in the room) Breakfast had all the essentials, overall would recommend!

I would like to thank Tameka Marshall in housekeeping. I stayed at the Fairfield Inn June 22 and 23rd 2017, during that time I fell and sprained my ankle. She was so kind and helpful. She assisted me in getting around and kept my room in tip top shape. I commend her for going above and beyond in her duties. Everyone at the Fairfield was top-notch. The clerk assisted with in contacting Lyft for my first ride. The breakfast was wonderful. It was as good as I could have found at any restaurant in town. I definitely will return. Thank you Tameka and all of the staff at the Fairfield Inn Alamo.

Staff is courteous, rooms smell and look clean, complimentary hot breakfast was great, and just a block or two from The Alamo, shopping and tours. Can't get better than this.

Nice location. Walking distance of the Alamo and the riverwalk. Very friendly staff. Nice pool and breakfast.

At least in the room I stayed in, it took about 8 minutes for the water to heat up in the shower. So waiting for 8 minutes until the water was a comfortable temperature was a bit annoying. But hey, at least the water heater wasn't out. That would suck.

The hotel itself and location was very nice and very clean. My one complaint is that the front concierge, Pablo was extremely rude. My friend and I were in town because she just accepted a job with the city and we were apartment shopping. When he asked why we were in town, we said she will be working for the city and his response was, "You're not a cop right?" and after she said responded with "No" he says, "Good, I hate them". It made us feel extremely uncomfortable and the unsolicited comment was definitely unappreciated. THANK YOU TO OUR POLICE OFFICERS THAT KEEP US SAFE, YOU ALL ARE APPRECIATED!
