Very clean, friendly, reasonable with free breakfast walking distance to The Villages Spanish Springs town Square and Chili's and Ruby Tuesday and Publix etc A good recommendation for guests to stay at a reasonable price if you don't want them at your house!
Consistently clean. Fair price. Comfortable bed and pillows. Hot breakfast included.
The first room we got had a terrible odor, very stuffy and musty. I went to desk and told them and they gave us another room. Second room was occupied. Returned to front desk got another room key. Third room had a worse odor then first. I could hardly talk because my throat was closing up because the odor was so pungent. I returned yet again to front desk and just wanted a refund and go find another motel. I was told it was a prepaid room and there was no refund. Desk clerk gave us a suite instead. The fourth room still had an odor but not as bad. It was very hard to sleep as the sheets smelled also. I'll be calling corporate office about this matter. I can still smell the rooms as it is imbedded in my nostrils!!! Please do not book online. Ask to see a room before booking!!
Stayed at this hotel after Irma. It was VERY busy. I had an issue with the tub but they fixed it. Nice breakfast ..nice rooms. It was a good place to stay.
My family has been displaced due to the circumstances of Hurricane Irma. My wife and daughter drove over an hour away to get the hotel with an expected check in time of 3pm, as I had to stay and return to work. 3 hours later still haven't received our room. I understand these are trying times for everyone my family included. I called to see how what measures were in place to rectify the situation, only to be hung up on by the manager on duty. This is a level of insensitivity and unprofessional conduct was not what I expected from the Holiday Inn. This has been a horrific experience and this establishment only added to it
There was an issue with my card when I went to check in. My son and I had been traveling all day. He was moving back home and I flew up early in the morning to help him before we set out on the road. It was a long trip and by the time we arrived, we were very tired.
We there was a problem with my card, the young lady at the front desk was very helpful in trying to resolve the situation. I was on the phone with my wife and the bank, trying to clear up the situation. All this time she was working on resolving the problem while handling other guest with their issues. She continued to work on the problem and eventually resolved it. All the while, reassuring me that she would resolve the problem. She was very comforting in a very stressful situation.
This young lady is a tremendous asset to the company. I just wanted to share this with you.
Sincerely,
David Hernandez
My family and I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express in The Villages, Florida, in August of 2017. We had chosen this hotel based on a previous stay where we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel.
This stay was an absolute 180 turn from the past stay. I was told that there was water damage since our stay a few months earlier. The shortest version is that the air quality was moldy and humid, the bathroom had pubic hair and urine leftover upon our checkin from a previous guest, and the pet dander in the hotel was horrendous.
The only good point about this hotel was Flor, one of the managers, who was a delight to talk to and was wonderfully helpful to rectify our problems.
Very nice. Great room. Good price. Clean. Very responsive front desk. Maury, our friendly desk clerk, was very accommodating - professional.
It's just a bad hotel if you have to sleep during the daytime. I want to like this hotel as they have great staff, but damn! This is a very busy hotel during the daytime! To my fellow Vampires, stay away.
Friendly staff. Very nice lobby. Rooms are ok. New beds are awesome
The hotel was what one would expect. For the money no surprises, but the pool another story. SAT ON CHEZ LOUNGE, RIGHT THREW, AND IT DID HURT.TRY SECOND CHEZ,BACK FALLS OFF.GIRL AT POOL SAID SHE TOLD FRONT DESK.I move CHEZ away from pool and notify FRONT desk.Oh sorry,I could have HURT myself badly. LEAVING NEXT DAY THE CHEZ LOUNGES ARE STILL WERE I LEFT THEM.So be very carefully by the pool .I COULD NOT TALK TO A MANAGER TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
Overnight stay. Room was clean. Bathtub was a bit rusty, so wasn't comfortable taking a bath, but shower was fine. Hot breakfast with courteous staff.
Arrived two days ago at check in time. Was told computer was down so could not check in. At least 4 other couples sitting and waiting to check in. We left for two hours and returned at 5:00pm. Then told our room was not ready because mattresses were being replaced in all the rooms on our floor at 5:00pm. ..?.Staff refused to place us in a different room that was available. After getting our room it was very warm. Reported the following morning air conditioning was not working. Left at 10:30 am and returned at 2:00 room not cleaned and air still not working. Left at 3:00 pm
requested room be cleaned. Returned at 11:00pm. Room cleaned but no air all night or the next . Room was at least 90 degrees. Complained at desk and was told because room was booked through Expedia it was not their problem will never return
