We were given one of the newly remodeled rooms. Very well done. Brightly lit and plenty of outlets. There were 3 different places to charge devices including 6 available USB plugs. Bathroom was particularly nice. They had the light that wrapped completely around the mirror. Real bright.
They went with the 43 inch TV. A 55 inch would have been perfect.
King size bed was brand new.
They are actively remodeling everything as of 12-2-2017. New carpet in common areas is obvious.response / report this review -

The front desk clerk was kind and welcoming. She warned us about construction on the hotel, and made it sound much worse than it was. The room was nice and the pool looked very inviting. Slept through breakfast so i can't comment on that.

Convenient location to Columbus without being downtown. Recently renovated large rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff! The concierge went above and beyond when asked about a local place to get a pedicure they googled directions and called ahead to make sure we could get in! Good breakfast. Nice clean pool. Only complaint was when check out time is at 12 and housekeeping knocks on the door at 9 to start cleaning and woke us up.

Used to be better managed. New owners in 2016 and place has gone downhill since then. I smell people smoking weed all the time. I do not go here anymore. Only reason it has 2 stars is because it has breakfast in morning.

The beds are terrible. Hopefully they are replacing them as part of the renovation. My smoke alarm was hanging from my ceiling. The housekeeping staff came in my room despite having a do not disturb note on my door and left me a message that they wouldn't make my bed because of my personal belongings! I didn't want them in the room in the first place. However, they came in anyway and didn't bother to fix the dangling smoke alarm. Shower isn't working properly. In all fairness, I feel like as they take over more rooms to renovate, the worst rooms are the ones left. Maybe waiting about 6 months before visiting this hotel would be a good idea. Although I'm still upset about the housekeeping issue. It makes me feel like they entered my room to look for stuff. Especially since they didn't clean anything.

This Holiday Inn had plenty of up front parking. We were greeted promptly and check-in was easy. Room, with a king-size bed, was clean and fairly modern. Wish there had been more power outlets or options for plugs. Also, vending machines close by, but they are cash only. Didn't have time to check out pool, which is outdoors. Hotel also offers a continental breakfast for guests.

This place is in need of their upcoming renovations. Beds are old. Funny smell exercise equipment old and creaky with dust all over.
Would not recommend. One of the worst Holiday Inn Hotels I've visited.

Friendly staff, nice lobby and breakfast area. The have a pool, but it was FREEZING. My daughter wanted me to swim with her. I did but was shaking the whole time due to the freezing water. Hallways and elevator were dirty. Room is was fine, but hopefully when they redo the rooms, they redo the tubs. I noticed what looked like mold around the bottom of the tub. Gross.
Overall, it was fine for a night. I wouldn't stay longer than a night here or thereresponse / report this review -

We stay at the Holiday Inn Express suites north of Columbus Ohio at the Polaris exit off 71. We were in a two room suite. The room was really nice. The lady at the front desk was very very nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of hot and cold selections. We only stayed for one night but had a wonderful stay.
