I had a great experience at this hotel. It is conveniently located and the staff was hospitable.

You will only be able to relate to this review if you are parent of competitive swimmers. We drove up from So Cal on Wednesday for a four day swim meet. Today is day one of the competition and we left the hotel at 6:45am and arrived back just before 10pm only to find that the laundry has specific hours of 8a-8p. Since I have two swimmers I have 12 oversized wet towels and the hotel could not make any accommodations other than directing me to a 24 Hour laundry mat. Clearly I am not the only one who has complained since their hotel is so small and filled with swimmers from across the nation! So now it’s 10: I5p and I have sit and wait until after 12a on the laundry. Then repeat this process for the next four days! UNREAL!!!! We have stayed in countless Holiday Inns not by choice but rather with our swim team for the last 5 years and our IGH number can confirm this. This is the only location that has had a restriction on laundry services! It’s poorly designed with the laundry room adjacent to a guest room. Additionally this hotel is only two levels. If your room is on the second level you may have to go up an extra set of 10 plus stairs that leads to six additional rooms with no elevator access so you have to carry all of your luggage and personal items up and down the stairs during your arrival and departure. Very inconvenient! I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a pretty nice Hotel. Nice looking lobby and breakfast area. The room was large with a nice desk and chair to get some work done. Plenty of outlets by the bed and desk. The room I was in had a mini fridge and microwave. Several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Close to the San Jose airport.

This is a two star hotel that should really be classified as a three star. I think this is my new favorite (affordable) hotel in town.
Pro: well located, new facility, near food heaven, well maintained, cozy and comfortable, well insulated, newer gym, modern. Staff go the extra mile.
Con: quite literally - the only con is that the rooms are on the smaller side. This could make it tougher for families but for business travelers or couples, it is just fine.response / report this review -

The staff is very friendly. The property is very clean and well maintained. I usually select other hotel brands when traveling but I'm glad I chose Holiday Inn in Santa Clara. I'll gladly stay here again when in the area.

Rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and coffee/tea provided in room. There was a fridge in the room which was noisy when it came on for a minute every now and then, but it was empty so I could turn it off easily. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Free breakfast. Their laundry room (as opposed to laundry service which they also have) was useful.

This hotel has a small parking lot but check-in was a breeze. Priority club members will get a free water bottle and snack bar on top of opting for the 500 miles. At least Spire club numbers will. The room seem like they were renovated recently. The finishes are very nice and sleek. Bathrooms nice and clean rooms nice and clean and the beds are nice and clean. The TV has exceptional AV capability and the bed has outlets built into the headboard. There is even an extra rollaway table in the desk. They have a ton of HBO and Showtime channels too. My rate was 299 a night but that's kind of the going rate for this area.

Very helpful staff. We got there really early and early check-in was not available at that time. They managed to squeeze us in before their regular check in time anyway, which was nice. Parking and breakfast were free. It was a good experience! Would recommend it to others.

Good place to stay. Quiet except for the group of drunk people that came in late. Not really Holiday Inn's fault. Staff was friendly. Room was clean.

If you get the rooms facing the road. Be prepared for a noisy night! Otherwise, everything else was fairly what you'd expect at a Holiday Inn Express.
