  This was our second stay and again we were very pleased. We have found this a nice place to visit while traveling back to Northeast Tennessee from Destin, FL. It is clean, staff is very nice, breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. It's just a shirt drive to little river canyon and I hope everyone takes the time to see it!

  We could smell how clean the room was as soon as we walked in. The beds are the most comfortable of any hotel we have stayed. Pillows were good as well. Complimentary breakfast has a good selection and hot food was hot. General manager Julie Mewes came out to talk to us while eating breakfast and she is very friendly and wanted to make sure our stay was enjoyable and stayed to have a conversation with us. Friendly staff. If you are traveling in this area and need a place to stay, I highly recommend staying here!

  The hotel was easily accessible from the interstate. It was clean, the showers were hit with good pressure. Breakfast was sufficient, but not special. The staff was excellent. Exceeding helpful and friendly.

  We read all of the reviews we could find and decided to stay here for one night on our drive to Florida. Everything was wonderful. Staff was super friendly, room looked clean, we didn't encounter any problems. After we left we discovered our room had bed bugs. I have bites all over my one side. Room 315. Make sure you check really well for bed bugs before you stay. If it weren't for the bed bugs would be 5 stars and we would stay again on our trip back home. Now we're going to find another hotel and triple check for bed bugs.

  Your typical IHG location. No acknowledgement of membership level at check-in. There was at check-out. Decent breakfast. Very clean. Good location for interstate travel.

  We were professionally and very kindly welcomed by the very helpful staff. The room is clean, the pool is nice, beds are comfy and have no complaints as of yet. Renee that works up front is EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY nice and will go out of her way to help you and to ensure your stay is pleasant. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I will stay here every time I come back to Fort Payne. Absolutely one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed and without a doubt the absolute nicest and most well trained staff I have ever, EVER seen at ANY hotel I've ever been to.

  I had a GREAT Experience, First of all nice clean spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. Safe parking. Great breakfast. It's really rare to find all four things to be perfect for the price. Way to go HIE! Thank you!

  Nicely redone in the past year, the HIE is attractive, conveniently-located, and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful; the only real shortcoming we found -- a sink that drained very slowly -- was reported, and was who ply resolved. We enjoyed the hot breakfasts and the availability of fresh round-the-clock coffee. Is it perfect? Well, the towels are chintzy -- thin and not absorbent -- and we didn't love the HVAC controls; but it's a great place to stay when in or near Fort Payne.

  Clean rooms. But don't eat the gravy. I've never put anything so fowl in my mouth.
  They have a machine that makes pancakes that didn't work until they took the dried batter off of the mix they were trying to use.
  A good stay can change just before checkout.
  Hampton Inn is right across the street. If breakfast matters to you, stay there.
