Overall 3 starsbut the people at the hotel made it 4. My room was ok, sink was slow draining and AC unit had to settings freeze or burnno in between. It was enough space for 4 in a double room and they beds were comfy. Breakfast was the usual suspect with a small pizzazz of a pancake makerand they were dry but better than some.

Easy in and out. Amenities as noted. Close to attractions, food, and service stations. More than one would normally expect from a Holiday Inn. -1* as parking is an issue at this location.

The staff here was extremely engaging, friendly and helpful. We spent two days here, attending services for our father. We stayed in a handicap room and thought the room was well laid out and had all of the amenities needed for a person with disabilities. We had a ceiling leak, and we're comped one night.

Very nice room, very clean, and incredible breakfast. Beautiful pool, will definitely return and stay again, and very close to Legoland as well as the beach. Also close to supermarket, restaurants Banks takeout food, pizza places all of that. Wonderful staff very helpful plenty of parking, easy in Easy out. Right off of the freeway. Will return.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and decently sized. The TV screen quality was very low, the shows I tried to watch were pixely and not defined well. We received a certificate for one free appetizer at a nearby restaurant when we checked in, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was pretty good and somewhat unique compared to most hotel chains; pancakes, cinnamon rolls, mini omelettes, and more. The coffee was really good too.

Great staff, front desk agents made me feel special. Mainly Sharlene, she helped me find my way around ocean side. Recommend this hotel! 10/10

I love every visit to a Holiday Inn Express and this one is living up to my expectations, too. The room is beautiful, the staff is helpful, and everything about our stay is pleasant.

Horrible experience. Only giving it a star so I can give this review. We checked in on a Wednesday evening, went and had dinner and went back to our room. Being night owls, bedtime is around 3 am. Went to shower only to discover ABSOLUTELY NO HOTWATER! Contacted front desk only to be told we had to wait there was no maintenance on duty until 8 am. Once he got there he came to our room to make sure we knew how to work STANDARD shower knobs! He told us oh maybe a boiler went out. Basically, to bad so sad, and left, saying he would go check some other rooms. We took cold showers and went about our day. Upon returning to our room, we found a bottle of wine from the front desk and a letter from the supervisor apologizing about the water. No discount on the room though. Bad service, RUDE employees. Jonathan, the Manager, never even spoke to us. EXCEPT for Daniel the Night Auditor. He was super cool and very nice. THUMBS UP DANIEL!! YOU ROCK! My advice .. Go to the Motel 6 next door!

Pleasantly surprised about this place. It had a microwave and fridge in the room with free internet and cable channels. The swimming pool was frequented by the guests and they even had a self serve laundromat area. For the price of the room and free breakfast in the morning, this place was well worth the cost

Our trip was great due to this Holiday inn! Everything was perfect. Comfy, cozy and clean and with 2 young children it was nice. Probably the best hotel stay we have had in a long time! The breakfast was good. The staff was awesome. After a long day at Legoland this place felt like home away from home. No complaints other than it didn't have a bathtub but it's ok everything else was good.

The room was neat and clean when we arrived. The included breakfast was your typical continental breakfast food, but still better than most. Because of the hotel's proximity to Legoland, there are a lot of families that prefer to stay at this location. If you don't like being around kids, you should definitely consider avoiding this hotel. However, if you still choose to stay, the sound proofing is very good. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

My son and I stayed at this location for 4 nights. I booked this reservation because the pictures of the hotel were beautiful and it was close to Lego Land. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entrance to the hotel was very nice as well as the pool area. When we got to our room I was not as impressed. The pull out bed in our king suite was very old and worn. There was not support it was a very old mattress that needs to be replaced. The pictures for this room were very well taken because our room did not measure up. That is why I am giving this location 3 stars.
