My first room initially smelled horribly of urine, the front desk happily changed my room. This hotel seems like it needs better ventilation to get fresh air, otherwise the rooms get locked up and start to stink. The servers and front desk were very kind. Average breakfast per any holiday inn. Nice pool. Not the greatest, but not the worst. If you are in a pinch go for it.

Holiday Inn is a great hotel to stay at on the road. The room was nice, clean and modernly furnished. They also provided a nice hot breakfast and solid WiFi service. Juleen at the front desk was very nice and courteous. On my way to checkout, she greeted me with a pretty smile and asked about my stay. Great place to stop for the night!

The room was nice, and clean. It was all good till the day we were leaving. Check out is at 11am, we had a noon check out though the house keepers walked in on us twice! Once at 10, again at 11:30. No knock, no announcement, just walked right in the room.

This was our first time coming to Savannah 's. The hotel manager Douglas Perry was amazing. From the initial check in to the check out everything was so smooth and easy. He worked to accommodate us in all of our needs. The way that he work to keep this hotel going IHG should be honored to have him as part of the staff because I could really tell that he is really passionate about his job and he cares. I have been in customer service for 13 years and I can honestly say that the way Douglas and his staff treated us was by far the best that I have received in the hotel industry. I would like to thank you Douglas for making this trip an amazing experience and if we are ever in Savannah again we will indeed come back here.😀Also Robert thank you for being so friendly as well. You guys were definitely a breath of fresh air.

Small and close to an exit. There is not much around here, but it is within walking distance of a few places if you are willing. The staff was friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable.

My husband, who is disabled by ALS, was traveling on his own, and stayed here on his way passing through to FL. He described this hotel as providing the best service and accommodations (for his disability ) that he has ever experienced! The desk staff was super-friendly, and told him that if he needed anything to just call, and she would recognize his room number and come down to see what he needed (because he can not speak/be understood on the phone). He did not ask for this, but she anticipated this need, upon recognizing his speech limitations, and offered to do this.

My husband said the the whole room was accommodating for disability, not just the bathroom, as in many "accessible" hotel rooms we've experienced.

Another thoughtful accommodation (again, not requested by my husband, but very much appreciated) was that instead of slipping the checkout bill under the door as usual, they placed a small table in the hall with the bill on it, recognizing that he would be unable to retrieve a bill from the floor.

The next morning, a staff member, placed "to-go" breakfast foods into his walker pocket, and another staff member walked him out to his car, and lifted the walker into the back for him, all without being asked! Well done! I am impressed and grateful for such gracious , thoughtful and helpful service. Thank you so much!

Very clean and nice. The bathroom was spacious, shower too. The bedroom had ample room as well. The breakfast was mediocre, we went at the very end so it was rather stale and while most things were labelled several weren't. The eating area was small and my guess is seats may run out when they are crowded. Overall I am very happy with my stay and would recommend to others.

My husband left his brand new $200 dress fedora inside it's box in the motel room. We realized we had left it behind when we were only 30 minutes away, but we were in a hurry to continue our trip home which is over 16 hours away. So we called on the phone. We told them our daughter would come and retrieve the hat. We had only vacated the room about 30 minutes earlier. The front desk person said she would check and call us back but never did. We called a little later and was told the house keeper had already left for the day and didn't have a cell phone so they'd have to wait until she came in the next day to find out where she had stored the hat. We called first thing the next morning and was told by the front desk person that she was too busy to go and ask the housekeeper about the hat. I asked to speak to the General Manager and was told that she was unavailable. When I protested that we had called immediately, probably even before the room was cleaned the day before and now it was the second day and we were still trying to find out about his hat and the front desk person became irritated and short with me. Shortly after that she called back and said they could not locate the hat. I cannot accuse them of stealing my husband's dress hat, but it seems very strange that it was left inside it's large hat box, and we called nearly immediately after we had left the room. It didn't leave the hotel on it's own. We won't ever stay again in this hotel.
