Our room was clean. It was pretty spacious for a regular room with a king bed. Breakfast was included with the price. The location is great. Close to Newport and the vineyards.

Room smelled like mildew. Great big spiders in the bedroom. There is black mold growing in the bathroom, and no fan. Room keys stopped working several times. The TV channel list is out of date. The TV channels are barely functional and keep glitching out.

Beds are mostly comfortable with no evidence of bedbugs. Can open the window a tiny bit to let some air in.

I was supposed to stay here tonight and had a personal emergency come up that required me to cancel my stay. The manager Sarah was so sweet and helpful. I really appreciated her time to help and will definitely stay here in the future if I need a hotel in Newport.

I can't say enough good things about this location and this chain! We (my boyfriend and I) were in town for 4 days for a wedding of a dear friend. Arriving well after midnight our first night, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member at the front desk, and given lots of info about amenities, breakfast times, etc. We stayed in a room with 1 King bed. It was a wonderful size room for the two of us, plenty of room to move around without stepping on each other. The couch and coffee table were lovely. I am gluten free and dairy free so the fridge was a must for mewe arrived with a cooler full of watermelon and strawberries which I immediately put in the fridge and enjoyed throughout the weekend. I cannot review housekeeping other than to say our room was very clean upon arrival, as we left the do not disturb sign up for the duration of our stay, but everyone we encountered on staff was friendly and helpful. Ample parking. Comfortable bed. Nice deskmy boyfriend was able to get some work done while I was off with the other bridesmaids. We would gladly stay here again if we went back to Newport. It took hardly any time at all to get to the wedding venue on Goat Island and navigation was pretty easy. Thank you for an excellent experience, HI Express!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They knew exactly who I was when I just gave them my first name at the desk and we're very good at checking me in and out.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 night in October 2016. We were part of a bus tour group. We liked the hotel. It is clean and new and is located next to a Chili's restaurant and across the street from a shopping center with supermarket. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the Newport waterfront. I did not use the pool and hot tub, but the pool room looked good and other people seemed to enjoy it. Breakfast was average or perhaps above average. The breakfast room was large and had ample seating, even if a large group was using the hotel. The hotel room was very nice with fridge, microwave, and in-room coffee. Wifi is free. I would stay here again. We liked it.
