This hotel is literally the worst holiday inn I have ever stayed at. The hot water doesn’t work, the tub doesn’t drain, my room smells like cigarette smoke and it’s a dump overall. My room phone doesn’t seem to work and when I call the front desk from my cell phone it just rings.
Staff is kind and attentive.
Maids are fast, clean, efficient, kind, respectful, and just plain awesome.
Rooms are clean and well maintained. The balcony with sliding patio doors in all rooms are perfect for lighting during the day (selfie junkie super bonus). Not to mention just fresh air (smokers bonus). Definitely one of many favorite perks.
11 floors all with center floor opened so you can see all the way down to the lobby! Scary for some a thrill for others😓😂
Also food and drink are great and just add to the room bill. 👌the restaurant is small yet cozy. Open somewhat late too (11pm) which is great for ppl like me:)
All in all loved it!
This hotel has done some recent renovations including new mattresses for some of the floors. The rooms are clean, nice, and pretty minimalistic. The staff are friendly enough and attentive. It's no 5 star hotel, but it's not a 5 star price either. The beds are decent and the bathrooms are clean. However, our shower drain was really, really slow. The hotel restaurant has pleasant staff and good food if you're looking to eat in. Not too far from a couple of grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. Overall, great place to stay for the price.
This will be a great hotel when the renovations that are going on are complete. They have a decent breakfast buffet for $9.99, but it would be nicer if it was included. Very nice bar and restaurant. The rooms are updated, but you can still spot remnants of the old crastmentship. Nearly every room has a balcony which is great for smokers. You don't have to completely leave the room or hotel to smoke or get some fresh air. Parking is very limited, so you may have to use their underground garage at the back of the hotel.
They're doing construction at the lobby area but the service has been quick and good. Everything in our bedroom seems to be renovated and the view of the city/mountains is nice. The only 2 bad things were the heating machine (it's too close to the top side of the bed and didn't let my boyfriend sleep well at night) and the vent in the bathroom (looks like it's open)
Only negative was that there's no continental breakfast. There's only a pay breakfast. I forgot holiday inn was moving towards that. Clean rooms. No smoking but there are balconies. Nice staff. Good workout room and decent pool/hot tub. Good location. Garage parking underground next door was free.
The front desk staff is friendly and prompt. Checking in was easy and they were extremely welcoming. The hotel is undergoing renovation but it isn't disturbing and the completed renovations look lovely. The bed is very comfy.
Everything about the stay was lovely. The room was clean, the bed was soft, and the reception staff were lovely. When the elevator "needed repairs" (meaning only 1/4 elevators was working) they gave everyone in the hotel 2 free drinks at their in-house restaurant. When the shuttle driver to the rail line was late, they offered to buy me a taxi "for the inconvenience". Very nice people all around, and nice hotel despite the ongoing renovations, which never bothered me.
Loved our stay here. We will be back. Nice and very clean. Quite during our stay and no one bothered you, even though they were remodeling during our stay but it was not bad at all this was back in May.They have a restaurant with bar there we did not try maybe next time. Have elevators going out to garage parking lot. Have a pool and hot tub, sauna, and exercise room with equipment. They have two small shops. They do serve breakfast for a price I believe did not try that either. But overall we enjoyed our stay here. Photo is from our room balcony in back of hotel which we enjoyed the view also.
Nice clean room, well stocked, bed bug free with private balcony, but the door didn't work well so it kept getting stuck midway. Staff was friendly as I was surprised by a personal visit by one of the manager and she wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. For the price they charge, there is not much amenities they offer. The location and balcony are probably the main attraction to this hotel. Also FYI, they only have limited amount of parking which caused me to park in next building an was told as long as it's removed but the next morning, I shouldn't have any problems
One room two nights. Decent breakfast for Continental Style. Decent front desk help. All around Pleasant.
Just was on a road trip. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express from Oregon to Kansas and back because they are pet friendly and nice clean hotels. This one was NOT!!! $75 for a pet fee and the place is under renovation. Rooms were the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. Carpet was stained, patio doors barely closed. The room above us would open their patio slider and it sounds like thunder in your room. A/C unit was so loud and low speed was extremely high blowing. Blankets were to thin so was a hot then cold night. This is on a major road as well, people were honking horns and semis going by. Also could hear somebody locking the car like 40 times that night. People are smoking on patios, hallways were dark and dirty. Door to room barely closed so had to slam it. I could actually go on but you get the point. We spoke to front desk and they took off the pet fee because room was so bad. After staying two nights at an amazingly clean and contemporary HIEx in a small town, I was flabbergasted by this one in a major city.
It's one thing to be under construction. However when you fail to inform anyone booking at your hotel, you fail. You fail big time. We were given a queen room when a king room was booked. Oh yes, and that's supposedly our fault as well. The wrong room we were given was INCREDIBLY noisy!! Thankfully the other room seems a hundred miles away from all the noise. Aside from the door to the patio being opened upon entry maybe it will get better.
The staff is great, the rooms though No chairs to sit, even on the balcony. The walls were bare, not only no decorations there wasn't an even a toilet paper holder. The door to the balcony was literally destroyed, the frame was not attached to the glass. Hopefully you don't have any devices to charge, because there is absolutely no empty outlets. If you're thinking about staying here, I suggest staying at one of those hotels with monthly rate hotels, they'll have the same amenities for a fraction of the price
Well, the meeting rooms have been nice is the best I can say. Room has been bad. Had to be moved to a different room due to chemical smell. Second room has been better, but I got a call from the front desk they were going g to move my belongings from my room. Turns out when they gave me a new room they didn't transfer my 3 night reservation. One working elevator for a 300 room hotel.
