Great location. Everything was in good repair. All staff at front desk and restaurant were so friendly. Could have used more toilet paper in the room and the hair dryer was hard to fine but I will certainly choose this hotel next time I'm in town.
Hotel is located in a great spot downtown. The biggest difficulty is finding the parking garage upon arrival. The entrance is if of market Street around the back of the hotel and down an alley. You can also access it from strawberry street. The only disappointment is that my room was warm and the air-conditioning was not sufficient to cool it as much as I like for sleeping.
I stayed as part of my participation in the Harrisburg marathon. Hilton Harrisburg is in an ideal location relative to the start and finish lines for the race. Even better, they allowed 3 pm check out for those who booked with the marathon.
Fantastic stay! Front desk staff was extremely helpful and professional and made sure everything was prepared for our stay. Requested early check-in on two separate stays and Hilton made sure it happened. Room service staff were extremely professional and efficient--food always arrived early. Food quality is EXCELLENT. Wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Healthy options and kids menu too! Bar staff were very upbeat and friendly as well.
Only complaints were no microwave in the room, no fan n the bathroom for ventilation and bedside table was quite dusty 🙁(rest of the room was spotless). Thank you Hilton!
The hotel is really clean and convenient to downtown activities and restaurants. My only complaint is that the beds hurt my back (most beds do), however the other people I stayed with thought the beds were comfy. If I ever visit the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
I was at the Hilton Harrisburg hotel for a work conference and I needed accommodations to pump. The hotel guest services manager on duty set me up in an empty room promptly, which allowed for minimal disruptions to my conference schedule. I appreciate Hilton’s commitment to breastfeeding mothers (and their families) and the always excellent customer service. Thank you!
I attended a wedding reception at the Hilton, and I had a fantastic time. The staff were very professional and the facilities were quite impressive. The ballroom where the reception was held featured huge chandeliers, and the dance floor was spacious enough to accommodate the large group of guests.
Hotel has a nice ambience, very beautiful lobby and dinning area. It also has big bar with lots of wine racks in display. Rooms were very comfortable, we just stayed of one night. We wanted a king bed but we got double bed, they were running out of rooms. Overall its good.
I had my wedding here and they really treated us well. The food was delicious and they were willing to work with us to get everything how we wanted it. They did all the setup and tear-down too. We got a free night's stay and a discounted rate for our guests. Very happy with the Hilton!
Excellent hotel in downtown Harrisburg. From the warm greeting in the parking lot by one of the bellmen to a comfortable bed with large functional pillows to fresh made omelette in the restaurant, this was an excellent stay. The meeting facilities were also comfortable.
We stayed here for 2 nights after our wedding in Camp Hill before leaving on our honeymoon. The staff was so accommodating and helpful when we wanted to drop our car and luggage off the day before the wedding. They even held our luggage for us behind the front desk and had it taken up to our room, so that it was in our room when we arrived late after our wedding reception. To top it all off, they upgraded our room and had champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries delivered to our room at no extra charge :-)
Beautiful rooms, was upgraded for free due to our original room not being cleaned yet. Hotel staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. Amazing restaurant downstairs. Parking is a bit of a maze to get to but allows for unlimited come and go with your stay. Close to all major attractions in Harrisburg and fairly priced.
My family went to the Mother's Day buffet. It was lovely. It was clean and organized. The food was delicious. Everything was top quality, plentiful and fresh. The best part for us was the wait staff. Our server even brought chocolate covered strawberries to the table so we would be sure to get some. It was a wonderful experience.
An okay experience. Staff and service are helpful and kind. Rooms are nice, modern, and clean. However there are a few issues. First, when I arrived at the hotel, apparently a few hotel rooms had flooded due to toilets overspilling (mine was not affected luckily). Second, rooms barely have any outlets, and the ones that are free are either behind the bed, behind the television, or are being used!!! Third, I got stuck in the elevator for 40 minutes (this had also happened to a few other people)! Other than these three things, I would say my stay was alright. Not the best, but doable.
