Absolutely exceptional customer service! Every person we have interacted with has made our stay better. Our son came down with food poisoning after we arrived. Our housekeeper, the breakfast cook, dining room staff, front desk staff. Every individual went above and beyond to assist our family and make sure we had what we needed. Truly, customer service at its finest.
Beautiful hotel. Super friendly staff. No complimentary breakfast, $10.95 for food most places offer free exception being the made to order eggs. The bar is also over priced. $8 for a bottle of domestic beer. But the place is very modern and very clean. Wifi is fast and reliable. Access to the rest of Macon is seconds away. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished.
Both key cards would not work when I got to my room so had to walk back to front desk to get resolved. Noticed the carpet in the first floor hallway leading to my room was soaked so I called the front desk to let them know and no one did anything about it. The next morning the hallway smelled terrible and I once again let the front desk know that the carpet was still soaked. Front desk agent said "Well, he hasn't made it in yet but I'll let him know." You'd think they would get right on a leak that was soaking the carpet. Finally, my breakfast was terrible. Asked for crispy bacon and got way under-cooked, floppy, greasy bacon. The server could see I was not happy and comped my breakfast.
The guest rooms and public areas were pleasant, clean, and we'll-maintained. There are not many good restaurants nearby. The cooked to order breakfast was good, except for the biscuits, which were so hard they brought to mind hardtack.
Clean, comfortable, noon check out. When making our reservation, after finding out we had young children, they successfully attempted to put us in a room away from the stairs, ice maker, and elevator to assist with quiet. Will stay again on our treks north.
Easy to get to from the highway. We stopped to use the restroom and the facilities were very nice. The front desk reps were very polite in helping us locate their restrooms.
The hotel is nice and seems fairly new (review is posted August 2017). It's Right across from the Mercer Bears Athletic complex including football, baseball, sand volleyball and tennis courts.
The staff has been very friendly.
The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Great place to stay in MaconI just wish it was football season so I could catch a game :).
We were staying at the hotel for a convention. Guest services was very helpful in getting us a few items we needed. The hotel was clean and very inviting and the staff was efficient and friendly. I would definitely consider staying here again.
The facilities and staff were great!! Had some delays with flights that got is in very late. They had everything ready and had us checked in on no time.
We stayed at Hilton garden inn for an event we attended. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was clean and well laid out. Overall I would give them an excellent rating and would gladly stay again.
Very clean and modern accommodations. Made to order pancakes and eggs at breakfast were delicious. Looking forward to my next stay.
Walking distance to the basketball and football stadium. Rooms are nice. Pool is very nice. Breakfast has full service and you can order omelets. Only thing I think it lacks is a good bar. It has one but no draft beers. Then again it is on the Mercer campus.
The stay though short (1 night) was quite nice. Their facilities were well maintained and the bathroom and shower quite comfortable and relaxing, especially after a 5.5 hour drive. The staff were all very kind, attentive, prompt and helpful; as well as paitient and accomodating despite our 1:07 AM check in time and last minute booking. The pool and recreational facilities were quite appealing however I had neither the time nor the attire to enjoy them as we were merely passing through and in need of a place to rest before continuing our long drive from Orlando, Florida to Cleveland, Ohio.
