Great family style dining with pleasant no-nonsense service and hearty Indiana country food. Not for vegetarians or people who eat like birds. (Family style means that you choose your entrée and then they bring you a ton of sides. )

This is our go to place for Christmas dinner with our big family .23.Service, food,and great Waitress 's. It was are 10th year and we have never been disappointed. .I would highly recommend this for anyone.

Great food, great people. Beautiful views. Nice quiet atmosphere, great for dates or to take the kids. Good homestyle dining. My only complaint is the soft drinks have a salty taste, not sure if its the carbonation or if its the water.

Wonderful HOME COOKED comfort food Beautiful historic reasturant very cozy with good service and outdoor space for dinning.. GLORIOUS VIEWS OF NATURE ..AND THE LANDSCAPING IS KEPT VERY NICELY.

Great Family style restaurant! The Spencer Steak was perfectly prepared without an overpowering seasoning. Other entrees were well prepared and quickly consumed by my family. The staff was friendly and service was prompt - we never had to ask for anything. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation - especially the desert menu!

We bought a groupon online for the Hilltop restaurant and drove down from Indianapolis to have a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We both really enjoyed our meals. My wife had the grilled chicken and I had the white meat chicken, both were delicious. Our waitress, katie, was very professional and enthusiastic and helped make our first experience at the Hilltop very enjoyable. We had a corner table with a fabulous view of the heavily wooded hill upon which the restaurant is located. We have no problem in recommending this restaurant for an enjoyable relaxed dining experience.

The food was excellent as well as the service. Hugh portions of family style meal. The baked fresh bread is wonderful too. Hugh assortment of desserts at reasonable price!
