Clam strips dinner was excellent. Nicely done clams, corn on the cob atop fresh green beans and red onions plus loaded baked potato. A steal at $12.95. Bar was slammed with a Christmas party but bartenders we're very polite and helpful. All of them. The food here is very, very good. I has sushi once and it was excellent and a nice price. It's a cool place

Great food and drink and you can sit by the bay and watch the fish and birds. Super friendly folks. Doesn't get any better.

For a leisurely afternoon late lunch we were very, very disappointed. Dinning in the sun or trying to dodge it by shuffling around the table under an umbrella was not comfortable. Beverages in a flimsy plastic glass do not stay cold. However, I understand why it is done in a poolside atmosphere but we were not poolside so I'd say cheap for cleanup and not customer oriented. The seafood quesadilla was good, even recommendable. However, the fried oysters were disgustingly small and to charge extra to fry them is ridiculous. To get a beverage refill or replacement, we constantly had to wave at the waitress to get her attention. Up on paying the bill and leaving, we left a 15% tip and she in turn asked for a 20%. $9 cash was not sufficient in her thought. Oh yea, being in the landing flight path for the SRQ International Airport just down the road does not help in a conversation. We shall not return and will not recommend the Bearded Clam to anyone.

I had so much fun, sunset at the tiki bar looking over the water and the boat marina ,listening to LIVE MUSIC and the margarita was the best I have had since I have been here. The food was very good , had the all you can eat fish and you can have it different every time you order once grilled , then fried and the green beans was cooked perfect, coleslaw is very good too. Our waitress was awesome and was very attentive to our every need I'm scared that if I return this experience will not happen again So I will return and let you know what a great place to just chill , enjoy and relax. thank you folks

Been there a few times But we only stay when we can eat INSIDE where there's AC and a pool table.but never any staff. The food for the most part is excellent as are the servers WHEN u can find one. For some reason they cater to the people outside at the Tiki bar and not to the customer inside. We would definitely go more often if we could sit inside. the menu offers a really wide assortment of food too.at reasonable prices!

The waitress was AWESOME, and our food was really good. I had the Patty Melt with fries, it arrived hot, yummy and right on time. My husband and I had beers and watched the boats travel up and down the canal. A wonderful way to waste an afternoon.

I love this place! It's perfect for a relaxing evening, or hanging out during the day. The food is good, they've got a decent selection of beer, and the views are beautiful! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the service speed can be a bit unpredictable. Then again, the majority of their service staff is amazing.

Great food, fun atmosphere. All-you-can-eat taco Thursday's. No longer have a drink menu, but has typical bar items. Sometimes it takes awhile to get waited on.

The food was amazing! We had calamari & sweet potato fries. Our dinners included a yummy salad. Ribs were delicious, blackened grouper sandwich was good, mahi mahi tropical was very good, and lastly I got the lobster ravioli which was outstanding!! Only reason I'm giving the place a 4 is because the service was a bit slow. Food was well worth it!

The sweet potato fries are my favorite. I also enjoy not feeling like a criminal when I bring my (well behaved) dog here. The service was great. Good experience all around.
