Love this place, much better than Glory Days Grill. There is something unique about Selmon's which Glory Days Grill doesn't have (most other locations converted to GDG). Try the pulled pork nachos with pickled okra or the dry rub wings. Some of the best wings I have had.

Don't know how the food tasted it looked good. However we were seated and waited and waited. No "I will be with you in a minute" or nothing. Even the manager walked by the table and did not say anything. I could have understood if they were busy. There was not many people in there and after 15 min of no service we bailed and went somewhere that had customer service.

We had our holiday party there and everything was excellent. We reserved a private room outside and back and we were assigned their own two waitresses. Large group of people with individual bill and the staff got all of the food and drink orders right on the first time they were very courteous the facilities are extremely clean the drinks were good and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner or any type of party that you need a private room having it outside helped for the people who smoked. We had a few smokers in our group and they were still able to enjoy everyone's company and not have to step outside every 5 minutes by themselves which kept the whole group together which everyone at the end mentioned in appreciate it

This place used to be awesome. Not sure what happened to it. Definitely went down hill. Staff was minimal, but was understanding considering that even going on a Friday evening it was dead. The atmosphere was off as well. Too bright, music too loud; despite sports being on every screen, there was only the music.
Food was good. Service was limited but acceptable. Just felt.."off". The whole family stated as much.response / report this review -

My wife and I love this place. We always bring our visiting out-of-town friends and family here. Regrettably, it will become another Glory Days Grill. In our opinion, Selmon's is better than Glory Days.

Call ahead seating for 4 was done, but, if you arrive 10 minutes early you wait. Plenty of open tables and booths but the hostess said she was handling and it would be a few minutes. Others after us were seated. I showed her that my name and phone was on her call ahead list and we were still put off. Finally seated, our waiter was very attentive with drinks, orders and questions. Food, Shrimp and grits was tasty but very lumpy and not creamy at all. Brisket chili was delicious, cornbread casserole was cold not even warm. Maple Chicken and waffle was delicious, all of it. Fried chicken dinner was very good.

Just like many Floridians, we were forced to evacuate out home due to Hurricane Irma. We stayed at a hotel in Tampa and found out your restaurant was open on 9/11 at 4pm with a limited menu. Of course when we got there the place was packed and there was a 1.5 hour wait for a table. We got lucky and found 3 seats at the bar. We sat down and ordered a couple of drinks to calm our nerves, beer was nice and cold. There were several people behind the bar coming and going and of course every barstool was taken. Sarah (bartender extraordinaire) was cordial to everyone she came in contact with and smiled the whole time. She took our food order which we knew would take a while but did not care because we were out of our hotel. Our food came out in about 45 minutes (which under normal circumstances would have been not acceptable) piping hot and fresh. I am so impressed with the quality of service and the level of professionalism by everyone at your restaurant during such a difficult time. I would definitely drive across the causeway to your restaurant again to eat there under normal circumstances.

Good for a beer and some alright food. Only recommend as a last resort if you're staying close and don't have many options. Friendly bartenders though!

The service and care at the melting pot Orlando is unforgettable. It was such a special way to spend my 28th birthday. The server was friendly and personable.

Great down home cooked meats. Excellent brisket. Try the fried green tomatoes and Mama's Meatloaf. Attentive staff, generous portions and an outstanding sports bar make Lee Roy Selmon's a must do Tampa Bay dining experience.

Expensive but pretty good food. I always get the bbq chicken breasts broccoli and baked beans. The fried green tomatoes here are fantastic and the bbq butter bread is very good. The indoor patio section in the back is way too loud, get reseated if they try to put you there. Bar area is nice and main area is good.

I was told this location was upscale. Hahaha.. Great food. Servers spoke a little loud about wanting to serve US. LOL but the manager started serving us then discounted the bill. Either way I didn't completely enjoy our visit. Who wants food from people whispering about who's going to serve you? I always tip and give honest review. Servers seem to all be white with complex of serving non white.. Go see for yourself.
