I happened to stop by the mall today and decided since I was there to stop in and ask about resizing my husbands wedding band. I admittedly didn't have my cards as I wasn't expecting to be there. The lady that helped us was not pleasant. She made off handed comments that quite frankly made us feel unwelcome. While there I asked about getting my wedding band redone since it was fading to which she huffed because 'I should have told her that when she was looking up the information on my husbands ring' (which I assumed she was doing at that time as she was typing in my phone number on the computer). I overlooked the comment despite the growing apprehension I felt. Later she explained to me that the lifetime warranty I purchased was no longer valid on my husbands ring because they discontinued the style but that they would honor it by allowing me to chose a different ring, pay the cost difference and purchase a new 3yr warranty; if they were unable to resize it (which I have to wait 4 weeks to find out). I curiously asked why if I paid for the lifetime warranty they would not honor a 'lifetime' warranty. She rudely commented that by getting a new ring or resizing the old one the $25 I paid for the original lifetime warranty more than paid for itself. She acted as though the money I originally paid was nothing and I should be happy with what I got. I understand policies change as time goes but the attitude she had and the disgusted look she gave me were beyond rude and unprofessional. Especially considering I asked a question anyone would have asked in the same situation. She also got upset when I told her my name was incorrect on the receipt. I told her when the transaction was first initiated what my correct name was. This isn't the first issue I've had at this location but this is the store I live closest too so I tend to utilize this location. None the less I don't believe I will do business at this location in the future. I will drive out of my way and go to the San Tan Village location as I've always been treated respectfully there and the staff has always been pleasant to deal with.
Took wife's wedding ring for a warranty repair. Salesperson quoted $118, stating the repair included refurbishment. Turns out "refurbishment" is a separate service we were charged $35 for (Repair alone was actually $83). Also, the website states prong repair is included, but we were charged $83. Basically, it appears the entire repair (stone replacement and prong repair) should have been free.
We feel taken advantage of.
Excellent customer service!!! The whole ring purchasing was painless.
