Our yurt was nice and warm! Staff members were friendly
We attended a winter camp as a scout troop. The facilities are well maintained and clean. We stayed in a cabin that kept us warm and out of the elements, even when the outside temperature was -7 degrees. The camp hosts were very friendly as well.
Amazing staff! It was so beautiful and well taken care of. I would love to be up at camp all the time it was so nice. Also, it was very educational and the bathrooms and bunks were in amazing conditions!
Beautiful setting amongst the trees and atop a mountain overlooking the Heber Valley. This camp is owned and managed by the LDS church but is available on most summer weekends for family and group reservations. The facilities are tastefully done for the setting, very functional, clean, well-maintained, and you can't beat the price. The camp is very popular so you must reserve well in advance!
Love the senior missionaries that serve here! It was a great experience. The camp was nice, the cabins and bathrooms clean, the camping and ropes courses were fun. We would definitely come again!!
Great facilities. Friendly staff. We went for a family reunion and enjoyed our time. We liked the challenge course and the canoes. We had Verizon cell service in camp, but data was too weak to do a hangout with family unable to attend.
Absolutely beautiful setting and excellent cabin camping for girls camp or LDS member reservations. Be prepared to do everything the HVC way.
The camp is up in the mountains and has a great view of the valley. Everything is clean and very well maintained.
Absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't envision a better facility. Running spring water suitable for drinking in all camps. Gas lines to all cooking stations. Hot showers. Beautiful scenery. Awesome lake for their controlled water activities. As a dad, I had a great time just being with the ward for girls camp.
I love the facility and the peace and comfort here. Great for families on Friday nights. Flush toilets, warm showers, challenge course and waterfrontUnlimited firewood is a huge plus! Wonderful hiking trails! The only drawback is how closely you are watched by the Senior Missionariesat times, it feels like they are babysitting you, which they ARE the other 5 days of the week, so I suppose it's understandable.
