I loved this place. If you want something unique that feels like you are in the desert, this is the place. If you want cookie cutter that looks the same as if you were in Cleveland, head on down the road. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The kitchenette is actually a full kitchen, with full size stove, fridge, microwave, table for 4, all in its own room. My husband enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. Great place if you are going to Joshua Tree National Park.

I have never stayed at this motel but wanted to! I made a reservation then needed to change the date, but could not get a response to two emails requesting the change. I did speak briefly with a lady on the phone but was informed she could not help me! I will now have to call my cc company to block the charge for the room. What a hassel.

An unexpected gem. Quaint and cozy grounds with an intimate feel and classic desert vibe. There are just 8 units, with a shared kitchen, office, games area, which is great if you're staying longer than a couple days. Nice pool and hot tub, I was able to take an hour long soak all alone the night I arrived, very peaceful. Warm lighting of the grounds at night adds a nice ambiance. Each room has a little patio area with table and chairs, my room was very clean and crisp, not what I expected. All around this was one of my very favorite hotel experiences. I travel the west frequently, and most places at this price aren't nearly as nice. The desert is hard on buildings, and small places like this cost a lot to maintain. Somehow this place is managing to do a really decent job of it. The owner was very friendly and helpful, we had a lovely conversation about all sorts of things. She went far beyond the typical hostess, walking me to my room, explaining the ins and outs. If you're looking for someplace affordable that has real character and charm, and you also like a clean room and grounds, this is your place.

This place had a totally beautiful view and the rooms looked fine, ya no, so I felt like it would be a nice place to stay. Upon arriving though we were met with nothing other than a cool indifference.

Maybe having tattoos was just too much for the women running the motel things worsened when my brother ( my reason for the stay, as he recently relocated to Joshua Tree from Chicago) stopped by the motel with his girlfriend and other friend. The hotel manager immediately came out and practically accosted me telling us no one was allowed to swim in the pool but me and my guest. She forced me to put everyone on the room list for the night for anyone to get near the pool! Crazy! She also came out telling us we had to be out by 830, even though it clearly says you can stay in the jacuzzi until 10pm!

I was looking for a motel I can come back to often to visit my brother since I'm nearby in LA. This will NOT be the one. It's cute and quirky but the customer service STINKS.

Beautiful hidden gem! This desert oasis was by far my favorite place I've stayed in the 5 cross country road trips I've done. Each room has a patio overlooking the beautiful cactus garden. My husband and I sat outside for hours relaxing and taking in the desert beauty.then we watched the full moon rise over the desert. The owner greeted us with a smile, she showed us around the grounds then into our room which she had put the air conditioning on ahead of time for us. The rooms are big, clean and the beds are comfy! My only complaint is I was only passing through and spending 1 night. I'm so happy that I found this motel and if I make it out that way again I will for sure stay here!!

I LOVED this place. The views are beautiful. No neighbors nearby so it's very quiet and relaxing. When I come back to Joshua Tree, I will be staying here again. Ash is such a pleasant host. We had a great conversation by the hot tub late into the night. Such a cool, little, eclectic place.

This place was perfect!! The bed was comfortable, the room was cute and cozy, the property was pretty. I wish we had the opportunity to take a dip in the pool but we didn't have the time. It was located very close to Joshua Tree NP. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This place was wonderful! Asha at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. It had a friendly communal vibe with a common area serving tea and coffee, and a nice patio for sitting in the morning. We definitely enjoyed our stay,

This place is cozy and affordable. Owner/manager Asha is a class act, personable, and thorough. After three nights here in a pleasant degrees February, I started reading all the signs, postings, and sayings around the grounds in her voice, and that was fun for me. The kitchenettes are great, and had everything I needed. Had bought carrots at the storethere was a peeler. Gas stove top and a clean oven. Coffee, creamer, quirky handmade mugsThe pots and pans were cleanBut if they hadn't beenthere was dish soap and a clean sponge. No worries at the Harmony! The hot tub had bubbles and the pool was crisp. You can hear the traffic on twenty-nine palms hwy, but I don't recommend letting that bring you down. The common room has nice extra amenities, local history and journalism. 4 easy miles from Oasis Visitor Center heading east, and 12 easy miles from the wild westy township of Joshua Tree heading west. The atmosphere is creative and two new song ideas were sketched and nurtured over three easy-going days. Consider Harmony my friends!

Harmony Hotel is a clean, affordable place to stay while visiting the area! The rooms are clean and comfortable and tastfully decorated. The pool and hot tub were amazing and nice to relax in! Offering tea in the evening and coffee or tea in the morning was very nice.
I will definitely be staying at Harmony Hotel again when I'm visiting the area.
