Traveling from Sacramento, Ca to the Phoenix area and after driving 11 hours, my husband and me just wanted to get a nice comfy room watch a little T.V. and relax and if you are looking for that experience KEEP DRIVING. This place is a joke! Yes it's a clean room the price was good BUT T.V. had no sound. Called front desk they sent someone over with 2 different remotes and they were able to get sound AT A MINIMUM couldn nearly hear it! When we complained we were told that there was no maintenance available to switch out T.V, they could move us to another room.way on the dark backside of this place! Thanks but no thanks!
So we thought OK we don't have to watch t.v. let's get our tablets out, well HELL couldn't connect to internet. Front desk person didn't write code down properly called again and got it working.
Sad situation is that we fore went watching t.v. BUT damn! We got to listen to the guy next door to us watching his t.v.!
I work with the public and every chance I get I will make sure NOT to recommend this place.
This place is somehow connected to the place next door, The Roadway Inn, had to check in through them and called them when problems arose.
One more thing some rooms have a spa in themjust try getting running water in them JOKE!

Chose this motel because it had the lowest rates for our date range. It proved to he an excellent stay

Our first room had a broken A.C. unit so they moved us into a bug infested room instead. After the 2nd room change we cancelled our reservations and drove back home. LUCKILY home was only 3 hours away and we weren't stranded there.

Clean 2 story hotel ,nice pool but no hot tub. Check in is next door at Rodeway Inn but its very easy and the staff is very friendly. The rooms downstairs seem to have a nicer "kitchen" with a 2 burner range + all the extras like the standard fridge/coffee maker/microwave set up on the second floor. Stater Bros is right next door.

All in all we had a good stay. The Pros: comfy beds, nice sheets, towels & toiletries. Pool was open, clean and refreshing. The Cons: Hotel is run from the Rodeway Inn across the parking lot. Basically these are the lower rent rooms. Their lobby faces Twentynine Palms Blvd, so they cannot see what's going on at America's Best, so there here was a homeless person hanging out in the pool. There was a big SNAFU with our credit card. Their system "reauthorized" our card again even after we'd paid in full in advance. It took a full two weeks to get the funds released back to our card. Breakfast was only ok; cold cereal, fruit, toast coffee. Next time, we'll pay the extra few bucks to stay at the Rodeway. Their pool was way better.

They have shared check in - out arrangement with other opposite motel, however everything smooth and efficient!

Reasonably clean room and bathroom with comfortable king bed, microwave, fridge, coffee marker and working aircon, hot shower plus WiFi available.

They have laundry room, gym room and cute swimming pool, however NO vending machine for ice [probably is also shared with the other motel opposite, can not really confirm tho]

    Overall
Good overnight stay before exploring Joshua Tree Park with the only contra is their cleaning lady knock the door at 8am while we put don't disturb sign 🤔

The room is huge and cozy. The bathroom was a good size and very clean! The fitness center wasn't really all that good, but it was included and not with AC, so it was like a sauna when you workout! The TV in the fitness center has no channels, but it turns on! Didn't try out the pool, but a lot of people were using it! :) In our room, the AC only made half of the room cold, so it was kinda weird. I like the mini coffee machine and minifridge, but our minifridge smelled weird. Plenty of outlets and light in the room, right by stater bros, so a quick trip to buy snacks for cheap! There is a washer and dryer here, but it costs quarters and I didn't see a quarter machine, so bring a lot of them! Overall, it was a great price for an okay stay, more than most places of the same price! I can't complain, just letting people know. I will definitely stay again! :)

The location is great. Close to the entrance to the park. Close to restaurants and walking distance from supermarket. Room was large, clean and comfortable.

Large clean room and bathroom. Nicely decorated. Good Parking. In room coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. Only problem was the card reader on the door was slow to read the card. Card appeared recycled. Took multiple attempts before the door would open. I didn't feel like walking back downstairs across the parking lot to the hotel next door (after hours checkin) to exchange the card for a new one. The Staff were quite courteous with the exception of the Maid who chose to knock on the door 2 hours before checkout (awaking me) although I did NOT place the sign requesting Service.

Rooms were ok. But the entire time we were there the office was never open. Any questions Walk across the parking lot to a different hotel. How do you not have anyone at the desk? Also there is something about this place and towels but the cleaning crew left us only one towel And I'm pretty sure a highschool football towel would be in better shape. In the end, it was cheap but you shouldn't have to go through this even at a bargain.

Located next to a nice shopping center with a grocery store. Bathrooms appear to be recently remodeled with stone countertops and showers. The continental breakfast was offered at the hotel across the parking lot and was what you'd expect, yogurt, cereal, fruit, waffles.
