Always enjoy staying at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, safe location and near everything around Lakeland.
Hotel was very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly, but often not present at the desk during the evenings of my 5 night stay. Located on the edge of a shopping area so there is lots to do and eat right within walking distance. Movie theatre is right across the parking lot and there is a lot of great dining. Parking was a little hard to come by as part of the lot was closed off for construction during my visit. Overall a very nice place to stay.
NICE Hampton Inn as expected. Located inside a mall. Across from my room is an open air bar with a live band that played until 11 pm. If you arrive at the end of long day and want shower and cozy bed, forget it. You cannot hear the TV in room 216 over the bar. If you are in the hotel to carouse you will be happy here. I like fun. But fun is not my purpose in paying for any Hampton Inn
We stayed here during the hurricane Irma evacuation from the west coast of Florida. I have nothing but great tings to say about our stay at this hotel. The staff, front desk, food service,,,all team members went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The hotel was vert clean and very comfortable. All the shops near there were closed because of the storm although I would never have considered visiting this area , I have nothing but fabulous things to say about this hotel and the people of Lakeland for their kindness. I look forward to a visit under non-storm circumstances. Thank you so very much.
Great staff, great clean rooms, fair prices..
Breakfast is awesome. Big room. Bed very mediocre not a pillowtop. Staff very nice. No late night swimming. Nice village outdoor mall. Plenty to do and see.
I am a very loyal Hilton Honors member, but will NEVER stay at this location nor recommend it to anyone. As a frequent traveler, I am aware bed bugs don't discriminate. Unfortunately I fell victim and was bit five times on the chest at this location. The Manager of the hotel acted as if I was a nuisance and had obviously never received training in customer service - not once did he even apologize for the experience or inflamed bites on my chest. I was provided another room for the last night of my stay that had surface mold all on the bathroom ceiling. To say I was livid was an understatement. Lastly, the manager had an "exterminator" come out and they found nothing - go figure! Definitely need another opinion as my bites in a line were proof enough for any exterminator. The only saving grace of this experience was the Regional Manager that was not only professional, but also treated me like a normal human being. She had my luggage steamed to ensure I would not take them home and comped the room for one night plus provided a free night for a future stay. I'd highly recommend majority of the Hilton brand hotels, but you can definitely find better accommodations in Lakeland. *Pictures available by request.
Alka at the Front Desk was very cheerful and polite. She's a great representative of the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. The breakfast bar was run by Kim, and she made sure that we had everything that we needed. The food selection was great and tasted delicious, making it a fantastic breakfast experience.
The room was clean and comfortable. Although the room we reserved had mechanical issues the hotel prvoided similar accommodations for a reduced free. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff at breakfast and lots of choices.
This hotel provided great service and very clean rooms. This location is just great! Next to the mall, restaurants and movie theater. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business and or pleasure.
I left the hotel last night due to bed bugs the past 2 nights. I informed the hotel and they suggested switching roomsI checked out immediately. Receptionist gave me an apology and a bottle of water for my trouble and bites. Pic of first bites at the scene of crime attached
