Ok. They are getting ready to remodel so no ice buckets but a ice machine and a vending machine with no bearings. The room was fine though.
Close to a Walmart and there are shuttles to the casino. The hotel itself is a bit old. Don't get rooms with windows facing the highway, it's very noisy throughout the day. Breakfast is complimentary.
Clean, welcoming, free shuttle to San Manuel casino. Good variety free bkfst. Coffee tea and hot chocolate available 24/7.
-Not so happy thanksgiving!
My reservation for a double Queen Suite was from thanksgiving day 3pm to Sunday12 pm. While traveling south early am on thursday morning I called the front desk around 2:00 a.m.( Thanksgiving Day) asked if I could check in around 5am and just pay for an extra day? (Meaning 10 hrs earlier than the 3pm check in I had already booked) They replied no problem. You just will not have the same room you reserved until 10 a.m .As long as you are okay checking in to a single king suite and then being moved across the hall to a double Queen around 10 a.m. that will work perfectly. I explained that had a car full of items for a venue and I will need the room to store my items while I pick up supervisor and co-workers. If there will be any issue swapping rooms and moving items before
2pm. I will need to make arrangements at another hotel because I cannot have items in vehicle with me between 3-5pm. there is not sufficient space for people to sit! The night manager Assured me that wouldn't be a problem. I could trade rooms in the early a.m. as soon as they get the first queen Suite cleaned it will be mine. He put a note in the computer to ring my room as soon as the first double Queen Suite was available.(Possibly as early as 8:30am) Of course I received no call.
I physically spoke with front desk at 10 am as planned and they had no record of the arrangement and advised me to check out of my current room and told me to have a seat in the lobby.. they would have my double queen suite ready shortly.. long story short I remained eye distance away from manager at front desk aking for updates every half hour from 10 am - 3:30 pm and finally had to leave!! Without checking in!! I was forced to make other arrangements!! I kept calm and left without making a scene but was boiling inside as I witnessed people checking in to double queen suites in front of me!!! (Reminder: this is happening on thanksgiving day)
The disrespect was unbelieveable!
In fact I have never once taken the time out of my day to give a negative review to anyone for anything until this moment.
Sincerely
-Not so Happy Thanksgiving-
This place tried to ruin Thanksgiving!
My mom in law had a reservation with a conformation number. When she went to check in something went wrong and they could not get her in a room. Four hours later and they still could not honor their reservation! We had to give up when the staff became rude. They had the nerve to say we were being impatient! Save yourself the haste and stay some other place!
Great, friendly staff. Rooms and lobby were nice as well
I book 4 days at this hotel and I always stay at the Hampton inns, i am a Hilton honors gold (almost diamond) member. I had to leave two days early due to an emergency and they would not refund me the two days I had left. Even called Hilton and basically told tough, should not have prepaid for it. That's real customer service, for $250 bucks they have just lost thousands I spend at Hampton and Hilton hotels!!
I'll been to this hotel a few times but my last stay was the worst part of our trip. The room smells like wet old carpet. And we got small little bites all over our feet. Like from fleas. The bathroom was set up with no tub. It did have a walk in shower. With a wooden seat. As if it Was design for people with disability. I gave it one star. Because the person who check us in was sweet. Not sure about coming back again. Thanks
I've stayed at this hotel before and had a very pleasant experience, hence why I decided to stay here again. My stay this time however was beyond awful. The overall quality of this hotel has diminished. During my stay we had an entire Soccer league staying on our floor and right next to us. The walls of our guest room were so thin you could hear everything going on in the adjacent room, the tv and conversations specifically. There was also an incident where a guest was yelling for security at 7:34am one morning which was scary and quite obnoxious. The cleaning services did not clean our room until around 5pm every day of our stay, citing that they were at full capacity and couldn't get to our room until that time. This caused complete disruption for my elderly and ailing father who was unable to stay comfortably in the room as we tried to wait for cleaning staff to service our room. I also know the room was not cleaned thoroughly as I found a pair of men's shoes our 1st night.
Thanks for the comfortable stay! Enjoyed the beds and the complimentary room service. Shadi was very helpful and accomodating and the other guests were as pleasant as well. Rooms were nice and clean, though I kinda wish we weren't placed next to the highway. Though I didn't mind much in the end.
This property is so off from what the Hilton and Hampton brand have to offer. Service is less than desirable, rooms that only partially cleaned and the mechanism to ensure attention to detail is met is not in place.
If that wasn't bad enough, even after speaking to the manager during my stay and demonstrating my complaint, they then overcharged me.
As a Hilton Diamond for Ever customer, I'm surprised that Hilton is allowing this property to operate in this manner while their name is on the front of the building.
There may be a lot to say about changes at Hilton if this property does not step up to the plate and join the club on customer satisfaction.
This is my quiet get away place. I love staying here, close to other shopping areas, good parking, peaceful. Casino nearby, transportation provided by hotel or you can drive there. Has good breakfast. Excellent, friendly staff. Housekeeping is awesome. I highly recommend. I also stay at other facilities when out of state.
I stayed in a double room looking north. The room was nice, and being on the north side avoided most of the road noise. The continental breakfast was quite serviceable as were the cookies in the evening. The hotel wireless was in pretty bad shape in the evening, but that's pretty typical for a large hotel when it's full. My parents stayed in an accessible room, which was great for the most part but the bathroom floor was very slippery when the shower was used. Definitely one of the better places to stay in the area.
