Nice rooms, couch in room was nice. Bathroom has shower (no tub), and the doors properly locked. Bed was comfortable. Morning breakfast was nice with waffles, eggs, home fries, cereal, bagel, etc. Self-serve gummy bears in the lobby! Valet parking was $17, but it would have costed more to self park, unless you were lucky enough to find a decent spot downtown. Location is great, right near all of the downtown hot spots, watch out for panhandlers though!

Great room, very clean and modern. The location is great, but beware of parkingthe closest parking garage charges $15/day.

Best hotel in the downtown area. Stayed here due to convenience to a music festival I was attending and it was great. The staff was friendly and helpful even when overwhelmed with a large number of festival attendees staying there. Also the entire hotel was exceptionally clean, I'll definitely be back next year.

My stay here was amazing. The breakfast was awesome, the beds were really comfortable, and the service was amazing. My room was booked by another party and last minute my wife who is in a wheelchair joined me and they were able to accommodate her for that night. Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Gainesville.

The staff and management are great to work with. When my company has to book accommodations for guests, we often try to get them in at the Hampton Downtown, and have never been disappointed with the experience.

Was told I could use my hilton points upon check in but the girl couldn't figure out how to do it to see the morning person. The person in the morning said I had to do it on my app. Gave me a different story and instead of letting use my points charged my card 180.00. Said that it was out of his hands that the girl was new. If she's new train her and don't screw me out of 180.00!

Everyone is very friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. Dining around the area is easy to get to by even walking. Great breakfast in the morning.

This Hampton seemed better than most. Great staff and rooms. Comfy beds. Nice street view. Accommodating staff. Nice breakfast room. I wasn't here long but it was very solid. I'd stay here again. Small town feel and everyone seemed to care.

I had a hard time locating the hotel, as it is nestled in downtown and my GPS took me around the block. The valet was helpful in assisting me with parking. Nice executive room, comfy bed, good hot shower and good breakfast. In the mist of restaurants and a little park across the street, so once you park your car you don't have to move until you check out.

Pretty much everything you expect from a Hampton Inn. I love the location - right in the middle of the downtown attractions and dining. The door to my room got stuck but the maintenance staff was quick to solve the problem. I would stay here again if ever in the area.

Well appointed and very conveniently located in the heart of downtown Gainesville. Walk to shops and restaurants. Staff is attentive and premises are very clean and updated. Very comfortable bedding awaits you. Overall a great experience.
