My family and I had lunch there before a football game, the food service manager Jim Wagner was amazing and very accommodating! We had an absolute wonderful time and the food was beyond delicious! Out is very beautiful too! We would recommend this hotel, bar and restaurant to everyone! If I could give 10 starts I would!response / report this review -

Amazing location, right on the river and close to many different sights that are a must see if visiting. The friendship fountain and the river walkway are right next to the hotel. The room was super clean and smelled fantastic. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely return to the Doubletree!

Stopped by for lunch before football game. Great food. Great staff. Met with Mgr. Jim Wagner who was very helpful and pleasant. Staff was all pleasant. Food was great. Gave us some tips for getting to and from stadium using the shuttle boat. A+

Love this hotel, definitely my favorite in Jacksonville. The upgrade to a water view is definitely worth the cost, it's truly amazing. The hotel restaurant, the St John's provisions company, is great too. Despite there being a Ruth's Chris steakhouse in the building, they still have an amazing steak frites on the menu. Shanon in the restaurant was very friendly and remembered us each time she saw us. The manager, Amelia, made my wife's birthday special.

I didn't stay at this hotel or even go inside. My wife was going to a conference there and I was only passing through town on the way to our home from a different trip. The outside of the hotel looked nice and it had a very nice view. The hotel was a bit hard to find. My wife said that the hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and the views were good. It is home to a Ruth's Chris steak house which is a plus.

Very nice quality service. Free drink vouchers for compensation. Beautiful views pool. Nice place to hang. Although i am insulin dependent and the rooms have no fridges. The ice in the ice bucket only lasted about 4 hours. So i was adding ice and dumping water every 4 hrs. I would love to stay here again but i will need a place with a working fridgeresponse / report this review -

If you're looking for a good place to stay, with great views of the St. John's River, this is the place. It was updated somewhat recently, although some of the updates appear to be putting wall paper over whatever was behind it. Room was clean. Staff was friendly - especially Sara who had some great suggestions and helped out with room accommodations.

Room was nicely appointed. Carpet so so. Bed too soft. Not comfortable at all. Consequently, broken sleep. Bathroom clean. NO counter space! Would not stay at this location again.

Grayson made check in was fast and friendly. The room is clean and so is the balcony and bathroom. The blinds are a little difficult to open and the lock to the balcony was hard to open as well, but nothing my husband couldn't handle. Overall, are stay has been lovely. Definitely recommend!

Check in was easy and fast. Every staff member I've encountered has been nice and friendly. Offering suggestions for dinner and wine bars that are close by, but not touristy. The room has peaceful decor that makes you want to replicate in your own home . Stayed on the 10th floor with a balcony, wished there were chairs on the balcony . View was if the city and some of the river. Pool area very quiet with lounge chairs, large pool with fountains and covered seating areas yo enjoy the beautiful weather and yet be out of the sun.

The hotel is nice in a corporate way. I often see wedding parties here and business meetings. Everyone is always having fun, it seems. Valet parking, good bar, and of course Ruth's Chris make this hotel a popular Jacksonville destination.

Good hotel to stay at and fairly new rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodated our needs. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 was due to the cost of parking. Although this can be expected at the majority of hotels located in downtown areas.response / report this review -
