Stayed one night. Had a reservation, my train into town arrived late so got to the hotel almost three hours later then planned, they held my room with no problem. Room was small but very comfortable with king size bed. Hotel offers free breakfast buffet. Would recommend this hotel.

After the first night, we had a problem with the heat in the room. The front desk was very accommodating and got us a new room right away. They even upgraded us from a King to a King with Sofa, which was a larger room. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great rooms, beds, staff. Came to stay for a night and decided to stay another night just because of the great customer service!!!! Definitely a home away from home..and highly recommended for a nice visit or getaway. Surely will visit location again very soon

Nice mid range downtown hotel. Very nice and responsive employees. The rooms are nice and the free breakfast is decent. Might visit again, but we like to try new places, so maybe in a few years.

The stay at this hotel went really good! Everything was clean, neat, and the staff was very nice. I really don't have anything negative to say about our stay here. Plus it's a bonus that we we're so close to shops and nightlife. It was all within a reasonable walking distance.

Very nice hotel. Building feels older but been updated nicely. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and nightlife. Quiet and relaxing

Stayed here a couple times and really liked it. Staff are extremely friendly, and has a great breakfast buffet. Rooms are nice and pool is pretty good. Easy parking, though not all that close to town.

The location was really great. Right on the edge of the historic district. The room was spacious. There was some damage to the room (some water damage on the ceiling, a loud clinking air conditioner, a toilet that ran all night, a loud refrigerator). The staff was quite nice and the breakfast was a standard Hampton Inn breakfast. The outside pool was fine (just a lot of blood sucking bugs).

Overall it has been a good experience - the staff are helpful, the hotel is clean, the complementary breakfast is good. Specifically, the employee named Henry has been really nice to our son each morning at breakfast, and our son has loved interacting with him. The room is a little small for traveling with a pack and play for our infant, but we were able to tuck the low table in the room partially under the desk to make some space and it has worked well. The hotel is located very close to a lot of shopping and dining. It is close enough that we were able to walk down to the Battery with no issues. I'd come back.

Overall, a very good experience. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The location is amazing, and the parking is reasonable for downtown in a large city at $17 per 24 hours. The breakfast was a fairly standard hot and cold continental breakfast, but it did include waffles as a bonus. The pool was well maintained and a nice way to escape the heat. The rooms were large and clean with very comfortable beds. The rooms show age from their last renovation with cracking caulk, discolorations on the ceiling, etc. Those details bothered me more than my traveling companions though. A really great experience.

The room is spacious and the amenities are phenomenal. The breakfast is large and tasty as well as their coffee. The parking garage is a little pricey but highly convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind. We loved our stay here because we were able to walk everywhere without worrying about a thing. Definitely will stay here again!

Location couldn't be better. It's across from the visitor center and bus routes and a block from king street. It includes guaranteed parking which is a big perk in the city. Rooms are your typical size hotel room. Don't come with built in microwave or refrigerator, but you can request one for free. Includes an outdoor pool and courtyard which are very quaint. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Overall great experience.

A beautiful lobby with robust coffee, well maintained restrooms (with full toiletries in the women's room - Don't judge), comfortable seats and tables to lounge, televisions, fun staff, great marketing selection for tourist attractions and right in the heart of Ann Street and downtown Charleston. This is a perfect location if you are looking to spend a few days on Upper King (Farmers Market, Charleston Museum, Children's Museum, Music Hall, dining and more). It is right across from the bus depot if you need mass transit.
