Very nice looking hotel. Located very close to BGSU's campus. Lots of local delivery options.

Decent Hampton Inn but in need of a bit of an update. I appreciate the space to park as we have a trailer that makes it so we take up 2 car spaces. There was enough spaces on one side so we didn't have to disconnect but if they were busy it might have been necessary. Bathrooms could use a bit of an update. Didn't stay for free breakfast cause it was too crowded the Sunday morning we were there. Went to a seafood place across the street that was unexpectedly good and shockingly empty

The Bowling Green Hampton seemed to be updated and nicely appointed. Breakfast was your standard continental choices with heavily processed pastries, make your own waffles, and cereal choices. Air conditioning unit was rather loud, but worked well.

The location is close enough to the campus and downtown that if you're on a college visit to BGSU it is a great spot to hunker down in the night because it's so close to a ton of restaurants and not that many people are staying in the hotel at one time so you have plenty of privacy, the room was nice but lacks a mini fridge and the beds were comfortable but I'd advise you to bring your own pillow, they were small and not firm enough in my opinion. The breakfast is limited but it is substantial and you feel like the staff is there to make sure you are satisfied and happy. I'd rate this higher if the rooms were a touch more fleshed out and besides that for an over night stay its perfect.

The conference room was decent however for the amount of people for our pre certification classes, it was too small so we moved to another hotel

The hotel is nice and quiet, certainly decent for that. The fitness room is underwhelming and the whirlpool temperature is pretty chilly for something that has a warning placard about hot water, but the staff is pleasant and we are enjoying our stay.

We stayed here for the weekend of the 4th. We had two separate rooms both were nice. One looked like it was freshly remodeled. Other one was a little outdated but nice. Didn't have any problems at all. I will stay here again if I go back. Overall very nice trip.

Nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but I would never stay there again. I checked in Dec. 22, 2016 for one night, used my points, so the room was free. When I checked out my receipt showed a zero balance.
Three weeks later I received my credit card statement, and there were 2 charges, one on December 24 for $210 and then again on Dec.28 for $391. So somebody ran my card for $600.
I immediately called the hotel, and spoke to 2 different front desk employees, who after checking said they couldn't see anything, and that the hotel didn't charge my card for anything. I couldn't speak to the manager as he wasn't in until the next morning, and when I asked these employees how 2 charges for Hampton Inn Bowling Green are showing up on my statement they couldn't come up with an answer.
I then called Visa, cancelled my card, and spoke to Security and Fraud who agreed that something looked "fishy", and that they would open up an investigation. They also advised me that the hotel swiped my card about 5 minutes after I checked in for almost $800, but that this charge was reversed the next day.
The next morning I called the hotel back, and spoke to the manager who said he would investigate and call me back in an hour. He called about a half an hour later, said that there was a mistake, I would be issued a full credit (which they did) and the reason this happened is that "some guest used my card". Yea right!!. My credit card never left my possession, so the excuse doesn't make any sense at all.
Somebody at the hotel is obviously running a scam, and how they would think I wouldn't report charges of $600 when my room was free is beyond me.
I have reported this hotel to Hilton Corporate, and if anyone stays at this hotel again, make sure you check your credit card statement closely, and if the same thing happens to you I would also call the Bowling Green Police because fraud anywhere should not be acceptable.
