This hotel is fine. Comfortable beds and clean rooms, but it is a bit dated

Located in a good area. I enjoyed my stay. The lobby and hallways are a bit dated however the rooms are updated. The beds could be better. Overall happy with my stay.

The rooms were nice. They had complimentary breakfast which wasn't the greatest but also not the worst. They have a pool but it was way too cold for that but it was still nice to sit by.

Very friendly folks and overall a great hotel for traveling on business. The rooms are a little smaller than typical but for a single traveler there was more than enough room.

Nice, casual hotel! The staff is friendly & professional; the hotel is comfortable & clean. It has a small gym, pool & 'business center' with a computer & printer. Breakfast is served every morning from 6:00-10:00. They have a great variety: eggs, sausage or ham, cereals, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, breakfast pastries, toast & fresh waffles. And the staff is very accommodating; they'll help you with anything you need. The rooms are modern & super clean & the beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows & a soft, fluffy duvet. Great place for R & R, even though there's no spa or massage services. There's also no bar area. But still a great place to stay!

Many dissatisfactions beds were small and extraordinarily uncomfortable. I woke up in pain! The pillows SUCK! It doesn't matter how many crappy pillows you put on a bed the are still crappy. The temperature fluctuated from hot to freezing all night long. Horrible experience so far and we one more night booked but will probably depart early.

Let me start by saying the staff here was fine but as far as the hotel goes you get what you pay for. It was not the cleanest hotel room especially the bathroom. The tub had dark footprints all over that appear to have caked on from years of use and the shower curtain and shower walls were very dirty. Honestly looked like boogers all over the walls. The walls and mirror also looked very banged up. Beds appeared clean but after seeing the other areas I wasn't going to investigate much further. Fridge and microwave were left unplugged so I had to wait a few hours to cool my bottled water. If my room in the hotel is an indication of the rest they really need some remodeling. Next time I will stay at a different Hilton hotel when working in the Birmingham area.

Service was great. Hotel building is average, I guess. Nothing especially great or better than others, but not bad at all. I'd stay there again. Location is convenient to the city center, Mt. Brook, Brookwood, Summit, and everything down 280. The property shares a lot with a small shopping center, which has a couple of restaurants. Price is reasonable for the area. It's a safe part of town. Breakfast includes eggs, smoked sausage, oatmeal, waffles, and the other usual continental stuff.

I met family here while they were in town. Had dinner at La Paz down the road. Great food.

Very friendly staff with somewhat modern rooms, only thing they might be lacking is a minifridge. A bit difficult to enter from the highway without an exit ramp. Above average beds in my opinion as well. Very resonable for the price.

Bed was uncomfortable, and there was a lot of noise coming from the hallway. But the location is convenient. I would stay here again, but next time I will specify that I want a room at the end of the hall - not near the elevator.

Great hotel with an OUTSTANDING staff, one more helpful than the other, always with a genuine smile. The asst. GM, Robert W, was especially helpful. I stayed over 30 days, so I got to know everyone and was very impressed with the professionalism and humanness. I give the Hampton Inn, Mountain Brook, AL my highest recommendation.

After a nice dinner across the street at the mall a couple of us had a drink at the lobby bar. It was nice, with Starbucks and full bar offering. I was sort of surprised that the price schedule for a glass of wine matched that of a business/conference hotel in larger city like Washington DC. I know Birmingham is a foodie town, so maybe I need to adjust my expectations.
