Old school holiday, with bar and restaurant on the first floor. There is a motorcycle display in the lobby that is quite unique. It has carbide lamps and two fuel tanks with different carbonators for gas or kerosene. The staff is helpful and the rooms pass the clean test! (Pull out the filters on the front of the air conditioner, if they are dusty so is the bed)

We had a great stay! We were in town for a music festival and found the staff to be VERY professional, friendly, helpful,and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the cleaning staff gave us fresh towels daily and made sure our beds were nice and cozy. We were greeted at breakfast by smiling faces,which makes all the difference. The staff even played music in the lobby the whole weekend that was similar to what everyone was in town to hear and provided shuttle service to and from the venue. Those small details really made a huge impact on all of us and just added to the fun of the weekend. Can't wait for next year!

Might stay at this IHG hotel was absolutely amazing. And it all started with Mr Duffy. He could see that I was having a rough evening getting in, and he immediately identified my gold elite status and made sure I was well taken care of. The bed was actually really comfortable in my room, which is unusual for hotel beds for me. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and had a wonderful selection and was absolutely delicious. For those vegetarians out there like myself, the biscuit gravy does not contain any meat! The bar area that I went to that evening was also amazing. I didn't drink alcohol but it seemed they had a good selection. I had the spinach and artichoke dip with chips and it was really really good. If you're in the Birmingham area need a hotel, this is the place to go.

i loved this hotel! the location was so convenient, right down the street from the airport. The staff were very friendly and there was always someone at the front desk if I had any questions. I also came with a rental so i didn’t have to pay any parking fees so that was a big relief.The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The cleaning staff made my bed and provided clean towels & etc my whole stay. The next time I visit I will be sure to book with you guys again, keep up the good work!

This is a nice place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the pillows! It said free continental breakfast, but all I could find was some fruit and beagles. If you want hot food from the buffet you'll have to pay $11 each. I could've given a 5 stars, but didn't do it because they over charged me with $99 for who knows what. Other than that everything was fine.

I had read mixed reviews but my experience was very good. Shuttle drivers and staff were friendly and my room was clean and modern looking. No issues and I would not hesitate to stay there again ,

Was a great hotel. Housekeeping was daily and when I put the "do not disturb" sign up they put a bag outside my door with fresh towels shampoo etc. Shuttle service to the airport was handy. Had coffee maker and small fridge in the rooms. Hotel was VERY clean with personable staff. Would give 5 stars but the first few days the fire alarm went off randomly. Would stay here again.

There were roaches, parking was horrific, and our AC leaked. There's nothing more stressful than getting back to your hotel at night only to find absolutely NO parking and have the staff tell you tuff luck. The roaches in our room and multiple other family members' rooms really pushed me over the edge. The ac leaked on one of my bags, not to mention it was awfully loud. This OLD hotel is appalling and should be avoided at all costs. Not even worth $50 a night.

This is the absolute worst and most digusting Holiday Inn you will ever find. First room had a broken shower, we should've never been placed in that room but they moved us quickly. The second room was an even greater disaster, tiles were fallen in above our heads in the bathroom and shower, the AC had massive leaking issues, and the floor we were on was the maids' floor so when we came out of our room, we had to literally move maid carts (I counted 12 once) just to get to the elevator because they didn't leave a path wide enough for anyone to walk through. The AC leaked all over out laptop case and camera bag.Yes, completely through them both. The manager was supposed to refund us 2 of our 3 nights and now, 4 weeks later, they still have yet to refund us and respond to my inquiry why this has not been done.

This was a great old hotel back in the day. It is now just an old hotel. Really starting to show it's age! Friendly staff, inexpensive pricing, and a great location by the airport make it a reasonable choice for a one night stay if you're flying.

I’ve stayed at this Holiday Inn several times over the last few years and don’t really have any complaints about it.

The rooms are big and the staff is pretty friendly. It’s also usually the best option if you’re flying out the next day as it’s so close to the airport.

Only things I don’t really care for are the area it’s in (it’s kinda of more run down area) and that the hotel has been under construction for what seems like years. But it looks like they finally got most of the major construction completed.

I give this hotel a four star because it’s perfectly fine to stay at, but there’s nothing special to bump it up to a 5 star rating.

Absolutely fantastic renovation of this property!! Rooms are very spacious and really nicely decorated. We stayed at this property for 4 days for a business trip at the tail end of Talladega, everything was impeccable!! Breakfast was hot, the staff was courteous and on top of keeping you coffee, juice, water, ect. filled.
Beds are very comfortable as well as all the pillows on the bed. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel has been updated. It's a good place to stay with easy expressway access. But you have to pay for the buffet, most Holiday Inns have a free buffet. But you can easily walk across the street to Hardee's for a good breakfast!

Room was nice, comfortable, and quiet. There's active remodeling happening, so I can't say for sure what the daytime is like. We don't trust the K-Cup style beverages, so no morning coffee for us - not a big deal, just a bummer that was the only option apparent to us!

Hotel is going through a remodel, so I overlooked a little. My room was one of the new, remodeled rooms on the ninth floor. They need a new contractor, the remodel was poorly done. My room also faced the highway and the noise got annoying. There is also a fire dept down the road, you will hear SIRENS. The staff that I had contact with were excellent and the prices were good. If you do stay here eat across the street at the best wings and deli, the hotel restaurant has good prices but the food is sub par.

I used the parking service to park our car for the airport and was charged $6 a day which is an amazing rate. The shuttle took us to the airport immediately and we arrived right on time. I would recommend this service.
