We've stayed at the Colonnade Hampton for several Christmasesthe hotel is always clean and attractive, the staff welcoming and helpful, the rooms comfortable and spacious, and the price quite reasonable. I highly recommend.
Nice place. Staff was fast and courteous. Nice comfortable bed. Will stay there again.
Consistent morning breakfast that was easy to access and simple enough to get through. Rooms were maintained relatively well. Conference rooms were well kept and very cold. A very simple and efficient place to have any work training.
Checked in on Saturday October 21st Tevin and Sandra were a delight. Sandra went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable you can tell she is a people's person. I have stayed at several Hamptons yet this one will be remembered.
Room was clean , beds comfortable.
Miriam had the best personality in the food area that I've ever seen, she was over loaded with people yet had the best personality and she even guided me in making my waffles. Sandra close it on checkout again with an awesome greeting and conversation. I love the spin the wheel idea. Keep up the good customer service, It's something you Don't see often any more.
The Hampton inn Birmingham Colonnade was very welcome surprise for a road weary family. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were well appointed. The entire family commented on how comfortable the beds were. A great stay.
I loved it here. The beds were amazing. The staff was so sweet and so welcoming. I definitely recommend this place If you ever need to stay in Birmingham Alabama.
Very comfortable beds and nice spacious guest rooms equipped with with a working desk, mini fridge, cozy chair and ottoman. Professional hotel staff, full breakfast each morning, modern and attractive interiors. Well worth the price - and what you expect from a Hilton/Hampton Inn property.
We were there for a night. Our room was clean, and hospitable. Service when we needed it was fine. The location itself is about 20 minutes from Birmingham. This is a perfectly fine hotel to stay at.
It was clean and well staffed. Friendly service and a good breakfast.
The staff was friendly. The breakfast could use some attention but all in all a good visit. Great area to stay in. Very close to shopping and restaurants.
Horrible experience here. Not greeted/ignored by front desk. Did not honor pre selected room via Internet. Bed sheets too small for bed - woke up laying on mattress. Dead bolt kept getting stuck in "out" position- could not close the door without fiddling with it. Outside door not locked - anyone could walk in the back door. Flood in breakfast area. Worker who mopped the floor was also taking care of food. Breakfast food not replenished in a timely manner. And on and on.. avoid this place if possible.
The room was dirty. The people next door were smoking marijuana, which I reported. The dead bolt on the door didnt work at all, which is very unsafe. On top of all of this, I was not informed that the incidental fee placed on my card would not be removed for 7-10 business days, until checkout. This is a two star hotel. Im currently at the Marriott, a four star hotel, and the 20 dollar fee is removed in two days. Its outrageous and I will never stay there again.
I've stayed here many times. The location is convenient to lots of restaurants and shopping on Hwy 280 and an easy drive to USB Med Center. The free breakfast is OK and Cracker Barrel is across the street. Parking is easy and free. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable but not luxurious. We experienced a few minor maintenance issues on a 4 night stay. The staff is courteous and responsive. Overall, it's a good value for frequent trips to Birmingham.
